We were a bit surprised at how small the room was. Room was clean and location close to highway. Not a great choice of food, but the Ruby Tuesday was pleasant and the food decent. In what seems to be a trend, the towels were thin and scratchy. Breakfast was not one of the best I've had at Fairfield hotels. Good thing it was just an overnight stay.
You have expectations with a name brand. The Fayetteville location certainly met our expectations. Friendly staff, clean room, well organized and stocked breakfast area. A great travel location just off of I 95.
I recently stayed here on a business trip. The hotel is located right off the freeway. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. It was quiet even though I was near the ice machine. Non chain restaurants are a bit of a drive from the hotel. There is a Cracker Barrel nearby. I checked out in the morning and the clerk said she would email me my receipt. This is typical of Marriott brand hotels. I proceeded with the next part of my business trip. That evening I checked my email. No receipt. I called the hotel directly. It was a different clerk from the morning clerk. I requested my receipt via email. She informed me that she had no record of me staying there. I told her my room number. She then asked me for the street address of the hotel. She then asked me the freeway exit number! She was quite insistent that I didn't stay at that hotel. After spending way too long on the phone, she finally figured out that I had indeed stayed there. I probably should have gone to the Marriott web site to request a receipt. It would have been a more pleasant experience.
The property was a stopover for trip to FL. It served it's purpose for an overnight stay and back on the road. Hotel lobby and rooms were clean. Pleasant staff helped with directions for places to eat, which is not many! Nearby is the Cracker Barrel and Doubletree Bistro. The Ruby Tuesday's across the road was closed due to a gas leak the previous day. I needed to access the vending machine in the lobby after midnight. It was good to see someone stationed at the front desk in the middle of the night.
We were here for a meeting and parade. The property is pretty close to downtown and easily accessible off route 95. The room was clean and comfortable. They always provide a buffet breakfast which was not really one of the best I have had in a Fairfield. All in all, no complaints. Good value and good location.
I stayed here last night for the first time. It looked off the beaten path at first glance but after speaking with the desk staff, i found that there were restaurants and shopping close by. One lady gave me a few choices of local non chain places to eat. I chose one of the spots (Huske Hardware House) and it did not disappoint. The room was clean and the bed was surprisingly comfortable. Great stay.
So if you're traveling and find yourself in this area and decide to spend the night - this is a good location. Yes they provide breakfast - but if you want real eggs - the Cracker Barrel is right up the street. Pick a room on the 3rd floor or better. Comfortable rooms and beds. Nice staff.
On our way to Savannah, we stopped at this Fairfield for the night. Receptionist was friendly. They gave us a room on the first floor. The room is clean, but smelled musty. The room had a small microwave and a mini fridge. The room is size is adequate, but the sink area was small. The lobby offered 24 hr. coffee, tea, and cookies. There were also some fresh fruit. Breakfast is also included. They hotel is strangely located across from a small cemetery. There is a Ruby Tuesday and Cracker Barrel restaurant close by.
Great location off of I-95. Had a top floor, less noise there. Very clean and comfortable room. Breakfast was more than adequate. The few staff I saw were very courteous and ready to help with anything. Would definitely stay again.
Apparently I am in the minority here but I am writing this from 223 after traveling from hurricane irma looking forward to a good Nightime sleep this room literally reaks of mildew just awful!, as a Marriott rewards member I am so disappointed
