Stayed on my honeymoon on the way to the hot springs in winter after taking the train from anchorage. Hotel lobby was really nice and cosy. Driver from the train station to the hotel was a bit rough around the edges, however, after I started talking to him I realized he was a really nice person. He also took me afterwards to pick up my rental at the airport. The hotel has a wake up call when the northern lights are out which is nice. Not that easy to see from the hotel buy you can see it a bit faint. Room was nice, clean. Basic but wasn't expecting much more anyway. Basement has a sportsbar/ restaurant that you can have meals at. Typical breakfast options, eggs etc. Outside had an ice carving as well which was nice. Hotel itself isn't walking distance to any point of interest so a car/ taxi is a must. Would stay here again and recommend it.

3rd time staying here. Comfortable room and great staff. Complimentary hot breakfast. Only negative is no A/C, I know you really don't need one in Alaska but Fairbanks can get hot in the summer.

WORST HOTEL FOR THE STAY RUDE FRONT DESK NOT FAMILY FRIENDLY DO NOT RECOMMEND

We arrived late were very tired, our interaction with front desk staff was wonderful quickly got us the room key. We recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to stay in Fairbanks. You won't be disappointed.

The hotel is at good location. The staffs were helpful and provided us information. The hot breakfast is OK. The shuttle service is fast and easy. Thanks

I would not recommend staying in this worst hotel, NOT a Family friendly hotel, Old Carpet and Stinky place. Worse of all, very rude Front Desk.

Hotel on the outside is really really nice, lobby area is as well. Then you get to the rooms and it becomes extremely basic. Nothing bad just extremely basic. Nothing looks plush but it is sufficient and spacious. Stayed for 2 nights and had no problems. Breakfast was in the bar in the basement, eggs, sausages, french toast etc. It closes at 9 but if anything finishes after 8:45 you're out of luck they're not going to make any more. Nothing in walking distance nearby so either you get a cab or a car (we had a car). They do a wakeup call if they see the nothernlights outside which is nice. I would stay again.

Booking a room was quick and easy. Staff was polite and efficient. The room was decent & clean. We were surprised when they said they didn't allow late check outs.

The hotel staff was very friendly and in a convenient location just miles from downtown Fairbanks. The room was comfortable and clean, although a bit outdated.

We found the hotel to be quite nice with clean, comfortable rooms and friendly, knowledgeable staff. They have more than adequate parking lot electrical connections, a big plus for winter weather in Fairbanks. The breakfast has hot options which is a nice plus.

It looks really good fro outside. Nice and warm in the lobby. Staffs are nice. Rooms are kinda old. Little bit cold next to the window in Oct. Breakfast 6-9 am is too early for people who go to the northern lights tour last night. Just OK food.

Stayed two nights, the staff was great with any problems I had (but hotel related).

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. We had a power outage during my stay and the hotel staff handled it professionally.

We enjoyed our stay. The room was affordable and comfortable.

The staff was very professional and friendly throughout my stay. The room was large and nicely appointed. The bed was very comfortable. sound insulation seemed to be very effective. To top it off, the breakfast was quite good.

Warm day in Fairbanks 60 degrees, 80 degrees in room and NO way to cool it down except open window which would not stay open-need to be propped open. When I was there the week before it was the opposite- cold in room and no way to heat it up- This place needs major maintenance.

The staff was outstanding, I had problem arriving late. They made the adjustment and even picked me up at twelve midnight{who does that}

this hotel was OK. But breakfast was just OK, I mean it was so-so.

very good hotel for my first trip to Alaska. Good location and good value for the money.

Great place to stay located near downtown. Great value for the money.
