We arrived at 10:30pm and called the hotel for the shuttle, it arrived within 15 minutes. The driver was polite but when we arrived at the hotel after he unload our luggage he just rushed into the hotel to give the front desk a package and did not hold the door for us, we were right behind him. The room is spacious with a small fridge and microwave. The room was cold and even with the thermostat set to 76F. The next day we asked the front desk for extra blanket and told them our room is cold. They sent an engineer up to fix the problem. The engineer is very courteous and in 15 minutes was able to fix the problem. Breakfast is average, I have better in other hotels. Location is good, there is a bus stop in front of the hotel so we didn't have to take a taxi when we went to downtown. It is also only a 15 minutes walk to downtown in the snow. We do recommend staying here for the price.

With only one night in Fairbanks we wanted to be close to downtown but was also traveling on a budget. With the winter rate this hotel fit the bill, especially as it included breakfast in the price. The check in and check out was a breeze with the friendly and personable front desk staff. The room was larger than expected; very clean and comfortable and had outstanding internet, not something you find everywhere. The hotel is quite close to downtown and right next to the Steese Expressway yet we found it very quiet; not even noise from nearby rooms! We were a little disappointed with the free breakfast and found it lacking in choices, however we did arrive only 15 minutes before it ended and the room was very crowded and that might have been the problem. On my next visit to Fairbanks I would choose this hotel again and get to breakfast a little earlier. I would definitely recommend this hotel even if you were not traveling on a budget and if you happen to be a member of the Moose, it is across the parking lot!

Spacious and decent room. Comfortable large beds. Simple breakfast.

It's an older hotel and nothing fancy about it. The beds were comfortable and the TV worked. Nothing fancy about it but it was comfortable.

Overall a nice hotel, good price for the service and facilities. Not excellent, breakfast is quite simple.

Nice staff, convenient, great location. I only wish the breakfast was a little healthier.

We saw the Northern Lights right behind the hotel.

All questions were quickly answered. I didn't have a rental car but learned how to use the buses and got everywhere I wanted to go. Desk staff even printed out a bus route for me. I like to walk and the hotel was close enough for me to see downtown on foot. Very clean. The last night there, the heat in my room decided not to work. I quickly had two auxiliary heaters (for the room and for the bathroom). I really liked the pulled pork sandwich in the bar/grille on site.

Nice hotel for a short stay. Staff was very friendly:)

In Fairbanks you get what you pay for hotel wise. Friendly staff, a quality room, nice breakfast.

Stayed one night - clean room, bathroom was nice. Staff was very accommodating, breakfast was good.

spacious floor plan was apartment size with kitchen spare bedroom & living room recommend for families and couples traveling together

We enjoyed our stay. The rooms were clean and the shower was large

It was a good base for our Fairbanks outings. It is a good safe location and quiet. It does have bar and restaurant in the basement which had good food and drinks.

Stayed on my honeymoon on the way to the hot springs in winter after taking the train from anchorage. Hotel lobby was really nice and cosy. Driver from the train station to the hotel was a bit rough around the edges, however, after I started talking to him I realized he was a really nice person. He also took me afterwards to pick up my rental at the airport. The hotel has a wake up call when the northern lights are out which is nice. Not that easy to see from the hotel buy you can see it a bit faint. Room was nice, clean. Basic but wasn't expecting much more anyway. Basement has a sportsbar/ restaurant that you can have meals at. Typical breakfast options, eggs etc. Outside had an ice carving as well which was nice. Hotel itself isn't walking distance to any point of interest so a car/ taxi is a must. Would stay here again and recommend it.

3rd time staying here. Comfortable room and great staff. Complimentary hot breakfast. Only negative is no A/C, I know you really don't need one in Alaska but Fairbanks can get hot in the summer.

WORST HOTEL FOR THE STAY RUDE FRONT DESK NOT FAMILY FRIENDLY DO NOT RECOMMEND

We arrived late were very tired, our interaction with front desk staff was wonderful quickly got us the room key. We recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to stay in Fairbanks. You won't be disappointed.

The hotel is at good location. The staffs were helpful and provided us information. The hot breakfast is OK. The shuttle service is fast and easy. Thanks

I would not recommend staying in this worst hotel, NOT a Family friendly hotel, Old Carpet and Stinky place. Worse of all, very rude Front Desk.

Thank you for the review and rating we are glad you enjoyed your stay with us, we do apologize that staff was unable to keep ample hot food out. It does get busy right a closing time, and even though we attempt to have plenty of food prepared we sometimes get caught short we do apologize.
