Love it is quiet rooms all ground floor and have assigned parking steps from front door so convenient for pets breakfast good great fresh fruit buffet in restaurant staff so friendly only complaint pillows not Great we usually bring our own and forgot beds extremely comfortable overall for money great hotel better than most in price range
Dunmar has become our resting place when driving to and from the Midwest. We know we will get a good night's sleep and a great breakfast buffet (the real kind with sausage and/or bacon. sit down restaurant (you know, the way it used to be).

Park directly in front of your room, so great for unloading and pets. Spacious room, plus a hot sit down breakfast, which is rare these days.
The young blonde lady that took the dinner order for my family and brought it out to me when it was ready to go did an excellent job. Same same the bartender while I was waiting. The meals in themselves were quite good. Loaded mashed and chicken fried steak is a winner. There were some negatives. The room was very stale and musty upon entry. The power receptacle for the power strip that serves the tv and a light needs some work. It was loose and had to be futzed with to get the tv running. The bathroom was ridiculously small. The grab bar in the shower? Kinda pointless when the door opens in and block access to the tub. The worst thing though was the breakfast. I was given better chow in boot camp. The eggs were dense and rubbery enough to play hockey with. The sausages were disgusting slimy scum wieners and the hash browns were under seasoned and barely browned. The management should probably just stop serving that nasty schlock and save some reputation.
The room was standard, bathroom was small. The staff was very nice and complimentary breakfast excellent.

I found myself in Evanston while traveling back across the country. I'm a runner and enjoyed the Bear River State Park just a mile away. The rooms at the facility were clean and comfortable. I'd stay here again as I enjoyed my visit.
