We stayed one night in the Garden Suite. The pictures on-line, led us to making the reservation, but the pictures still didn't show the quality of this suite. The furnishings were beautiful, and the room smelled wonderful. Soothing music was being played. The relaxation factor was off the charts. Everything we needed was included. The sitting area in the garden was peaceful, with no outside distractions, on a 70 degree evening. We will stay here again on our next trip to the area.
My husband and I had a quick trip through Eureka Springs. The town was charming, but the Eureka Zen Serenity Room at the Lotus House was one of the highlights of our trip. We are not fans of the typical cutesy B&B. Zen was charming and historic, but with a little more class than most. The views were great, as it sits on the top of a hill. There are several small rooms and even a swing on the back porch. We drove to our restaurants (Local Flavor was our favorite - Fish Tacos!). The hospitality was above average and ease to check in perfect. We will return!
4 of us stayed in the Little Chateau on Spring Street and had so much fun -- it was perfect! Very cozy and comfortable -- great beds and linens, fireplace, fully furnished kitchen, HOT TUB! We could have just stayed in all day and night talking and sipping wine. Highly recommend!
We were happy with the location of the Shangri-La cottage. It was a quaint place to stay and we enjoyed the 'history' feeling of being in an old home. We always enjoy the historic aspects of Eureka Springs and the cottage fit right in with that. We also enjoyed the opportunity to relax with the music and the diffuser. We did, however, have some disappointments. First, the age meant it was drafty in the cottage and there were not enough heaters to keep it warm. Second, the first time we sat at the table, one of the legs fell off. The hot tub was nice to have, but the jets on half of it did not work so it difficult to enjoy it as a couple. Additionally, we were very displeased with the bugs that were present in the cottage. We provided feedback to the owners, so they could address prior to posting a review online and we were told they would look into this and we would hear back from them. It has been a month and we have not heard anything else.
Away from the busiest part of town, but accessible. Our room had a tiny bathroom, but it was among the least expensive choices. I would recommend a higher-priced room at this location. Free parking was a real advantage.
Outstanding accommodations I travel a lot and this has been the best accomodations I have ever had. My suite was very relaxing beautiful and nicer than expensive home accomodations . Everything was relaxing elegant spacious and a shady quiet street just a block from all the main attractions restaurants and shopping. My stay was ideal in every way. Dr atwood Springfield Mo
We sought a comfortable space for a birthday and anniversary extended weekend. The Shangi La Cottage was perfect. Honestly, no online photo I found could do justice to just how simply beautiful and clean the cottage was. It was prepared for our arrival with everything from the robes and slippers waiting with the towels, to cream for our coffee in the fridge. Each morning had the soft twitter of birds surrounding the cottage and each evening we enjoyed a soak in the hot tub which had adequate privacy despite nearby neighbors. The cottage is near the heart of Eureka Springs, but traffic on the cottage street is not a bother. Using the trolley stops just a block or two from the cottage allowed us to leave the car parked and save our legs the hills while out to dinner on Main Street or The Crescent Hotel. It really did meet our high expectations for our getaway weekend and we will recommend it to our friends who need a peaceful space for their Eureka Springs travel.
Dairy Hollow House is located on a remote street in a wooded area. It is wonderfully private and quiet. We thoroughly enjoyed our week long stay there. There were several plumbing and other maintenance problems when we first moved in, but these were fixed promptly and competently by the owner. The backyard off the deck is great for bird watching. We also saw deer. A woodchuck lives under the deck. The outdoor hot tub in this area Is great and was used by us every day. The kitchen is well equipped. Our only suggestion is that an instruction sheet should accompany the Keurig coffeemaker which neither of us had used previously. It is necessary to buy special coffee pods for this machine. The house has a few quirks that renters should be aware of. It is necessary to go through one bedroom to get the other, and there is no door on the bathroom in one of the bedrooms. This did not present problems for us, but others might feel differently.
We stayed in the wishing star for the VW parade this weekend. We have stayed at several of the Eureka Zen cottages through out the years and have never been disappointed. The updated bathroom and additional half bath were wonderful. We had a small snafu with the oven, but texted the rental contact and the issue was solved in 5 minutes! They were fast to respond! Both beds are so so comfortable and when I say we didn't want to leave, we mean it! The location of the house is one of our favorites, close enough to town to walk, far enough away for some quiet. I cant recommend this cottage enough.
I love this place. I stayed in the Wren's Nest and the deck on the back is my favorite part. It is quiet and clean. I loved the tub. While you are in town get a bath bomb and take advantage of this amazing Tub. It is right in town so you can walk to all the bars and restaurants. We were woken up by the upstairs unit that was leaking water from their tub but I called the manager and they took care of it right away. They allowed us to stay in the room until 1pm which was really nice so we could get in a great brunch and take our time getting our stuff together.
