Great stay, quite all around. Close to the Stanley hotel.

Because of COVID-19, only clean towels could be requested. No room cleaning. Not even on a five-niight stay like mine.

Great place to stay in Estes. Enjoyed the blend of rustic & professional. They were great hosts for our family reunion! Thanks, Discovery Lodge!

Nice room, beautiful view! Good WiFi and tv selection. Our AC was incredibly loud and the windows we would have felt safe leaving open didn’t open. Only openable window Was near front door. Bathroom was outdated and tiny compared to the rest of the room but it was clean. No pool and hot tub and breakfast area closed b/c of Covid19 (understandable). Overall, a nice place to stay but it could be much better with some updating.

We had a room right off the office which was nicely renovated and updated and had a private deck overlooking the pond and mountains. It was very nice, especially for the price. My only small complaint would be the motion light right outside one of the windows, which came on regularly throughout the night. :( The curtain did not block the bright light. Otherwise, our stay was great. The staff was very friendly and the updated breakfast area was very nice. Breakfast was minimal, but decent. It's walking distance to everywhere you'd want to go, including the Stanley (10 minutes). Just a few minutes to the entrance to the park. I'd definitely stay there again.

They have outside gas grills to use. Very limited choice breakfast

Great views, breakfast was limited, needed more variety.

Nice, comfortable rooms. Breakfast was ok. The grounds are beautiful!

We stayed at he Discovery Lodge for one night before a wedding in Estes Park. Check in time was at 3:00pm and we arrived at 2:15pm. We tried to check in a little earlier since the wedding began at 4:00pm and we wanted to change and freshen up after a long drive. We were told absolutely not and no exceptions. There was renovations going on in the office and everything was a little disorganized so we left and came back at 3:00pm. There were other guests waiting to check in and when it was my turn I received the keys and we checked in. The room was directly below the office. Since we were running late and were only staying one night we didn’t complain about the location. It looked like the lodge wasn’t fully booked so why they would put quests there is beyond me. Sure enough at 6:00am I was awoken by continuous footsteps and squeaking floor boards from the floor above. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable but the staff wasn’t welcoming or accommodating. I would not recommend the Discovery Lodge nor would I stay here again.

Location is great and staff were friendly. Rooms were kind of run down.

Really liked the views! Wish I could have went fishing and enjoyed the hot tub

Nice view and convienent location. Rustic charm. Staff was nice and we got a free upgrade. The bathtub was nice and big.

Nice hotel. Enjoyed the rennovated room. Bed was a bit saggy and you could hear a dog barking upstairs. Otherwise, a nice stay.
