This home was absolutely beautiful and accommodated our large family beautifully with plenty of room for everyone to have their own spaces. The hot tub and table on the deck by the river was so nice in the evenings. The fire out was perfect! And, as a bonus, it was super close to the RMNP entrance. We would definitely stay again!

Wonderful Home!
We had a girl's weekend at this beautiful home. The location on the river was spectacular - we saw many deer crossing in the mornings! The first floor had a great room with a cozy fireplace, large dining table and big kitchen. The kitchen was well supplied with basics (spices, etc.) and equipment. The bedrooms were very comfortable. And the surprise pool room above the garage and behind the false bookcase was a delight! The house was close to town, but we felt like we were in the woods. A great choice to stay there!

A bit of Colorado heaven
This is a first rate property for a visit to the National Park and nearby towns. Sons enjoyed fishing right behind house and caught numerous trout. 2 miles from Park entrance and Estes Park. Had a bear push over our entire dumpster one night - glad it was locked. Great stay.

Huge place, great location
We had 12 family members here for 7 days. Plenty of room, absolutely great location. Being right on the Thompson River was wonderful! Only issue we had was the deck and grills were very dirty. Cleaned them ourselves, but the property manager was great, very easy to work with, very responsive. Other than the deck issue, this was 5/5 stars.

Family Christmas
This house was perfect for our group of 11, ranging in age from toddlers to young adults to (much) older adults. It's a beautiful house in a beautiful setting, the pictures don't do it justice, it is really large and cozy at the same time, and plenty of space for everyone.

Wonderful house
This house is amazing. I think the listing may even have been short a 1/2 bath. The layout is wonderful and it was so relaxing. The staff at Pondetosa Realty was amazing. So friendly and helpful. Can’t recommend this property more highly.

Wonderful weekend family getaway
We were a group of 12 (extended family) and had an absolute lovely time here. The house was plenty spacious for all of us to comfortably hang
out and sleep, and the outdoor space with the sound of the river right outside was truly a treat. We could comfortably eat meals all together at the dining table, play games, etc. We would happily go back!
Check in was a breeze, location was perfect for access to RMNP and into the town of Estes. The contacts for the weekend were east to deal with and happy to help and easily accessible.
A few things that didn’t detract from our stay, but would have been good to know: the outdoor gas fire pit was not working, which was unfortunate because we would have stayed outside longer in the evening and it looked like it is probably beautiful! There were also no bathroom amenities like shower soap or shampoo/conditioner, so we had to hit a store for that stuff. Not a big deal, but has we known, we could have just brought some from home. And lastly, the place could just generally use some more bowls (soup/cereal) and wine glasses! But overall, these are such small things and did not in any way detract from our time there. Wifi was also pretty spotty, which we actually loved because we all stayed off our phones and actually had fun in other ways! :) We all loved it and will likely be back!

Bachelorette Party
the house was beautiful and perfect for our stay. The living room and kitchen area were large and open and well lit. Bedrooms and bathrooms were all beautiful. Only inconvenience was that there was alot of ice around the front stairs into the house, snow and ice in front of the garage doors and we were not provided with garage door openers so we had to enter through the front door and continually be extra careful of the ice.

Google maps directions to property address unreliable. If host could text link to property would be easier to find. Once we arrived we entered the location as a waypoint. Well-stocked kitchen. Would gladly go again.

Christmas in the Rockies
We had an absolutely unforgettable experience at this beautiful home. We took our adult children, their spouses and our grandchildren to Estes Park for Christmas and stayed at this awesome property. There was plenty of room for our family of twelve. The home was tastefully decorated and is located right along the river. We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday and would recommend this property to anyone!

I absolutely loved this home. If I could own a home in Estes Park, I would love to have this home. There was so much room, yet we enjoyed the intimacy of the home. To quote my 5-year-old granddaughter, "I keep finding more and more bathrooms!" Cracked us all up, yet so very true. Thank you for sharing your home with us. I would definitely love to rent again, but this was a once in a lifetime luxury.

We enjoyed our time there. It was beautiful, relaxing, and perfect for families. The kitchen had enough for us to cook every meal and enjoy the space to enjoy each other. The view, the river, and the outdoor space was amazing. We spend most of our time outside enjoying the space and river! We will be back.

A week in Paradise
Our Fun Group (5 couples) just returned from Estes Park .We had a wonderful time. The house was plenty big enough for all of us. The kitchen was huge and the dinning table had room for all of us. We spent most nights around the fire pit or in the hot tub after we went looking for elk in the park or at the YMCA. We saw 5 big males at the Y our last night. Saw several deer by the river most evenings. We had a few minor problems, called the office and they were taken care of immediately. We can't wait to return.

Exceeded our expectations
Beautiful location, and the house is massive. We had nine adults plus three kids and still had plenty of space to hang out without being cramped. The master suite is huge by itself. The kitchen had a reasonably good assortment of pots, pans, utensils, etc and the double oven was nice to have as well. Checkout process was fast and easy.

This was a wonderful home for our large group all arriving from various locations out of state. We enjoyed every foot of this beautiful home on the river! Large, spacious, great kitchen, fabulous dining room and space for all of us to be together at same time! Hot tub time… sitting at the large outdoor patio, pool tournaments upstairs and movie watching/games in the great room! We love Estes and RMNP… and will surely be back and would LOVE to stay at this home again!

Amazingly Beautiful House on the Big Thompson!
We loved staying at the “Mansion” as my kids called it on the beautiful Big Thompson river. This house sits right on the big Thompson with a huge back deck that overlooks the river. Twice we had a huge herd of elk grazing in the river behind us for probably 20 minutes with mamas and babies much to all of our delight. We had so much room for all of our kids and grandkids to sleep and spread out throughout the day. It is located close to the Beaver Meadows entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park and the house was immaculate. We would come back in a heartbeat! None of us wanted to leave!

Best family vacation location!!
This was the perfect place for our multi generational family vacation to Estes Park. Everyone had their own space plus the large gathering spots at the dining room table and living room. The outside is just as awesome with the creek and decks and gas fire pit. We enjoyed every minute spent here!! We hope to come back in the future!

A GREAT PROPERTY
This house and property is exactly as described. It’s VERY spacious! We were a party of 10. Ages 2-66. We cooked most of our meals during our stay. The kitchen is large and well-equipped. The appliances are very nice! There was plenty of space for all of us to enjoy ourselves. The game room is a fun spot. The younger folks enjoyed the hot tub. It’s perfect! The evenings were cool and the river was very enjoyable to watch and listen to. Small children need to be supervised at all times while outside. We grilled one evening. There is a fantastic fire pit we thoroughly enjoyed the last night of our stay.
A few minor suggestions:
- there were only 2 kitchen towels available - luckily we came with a pack of paper towels.
- the wood floors needed to be mopped before our visit. - our bare feet were grimy from the floor.
- the fire pit was a source of contention with the property manager. I’m still confused! It wouldn't turn on. We were told there was a fire ban and we wouldn’t be able to use the pit. However, a city official told us there hadn’t been a ban for weeks. On our last day - the pit cover had been removed and was working. We never heard from the property manager about the situation and why there was a communication issue.

We had a great time celebrating a special event with friends and family. Estes is a beautiful and scenic town nestled into the Rocky Mountains. This house made our experience top notch. Already planning a trip back in the summer for hiking!
