We found the Appenzell Inn to be very comfortable during our visit to Estes Park. The Inn is well located for walking to Lake Estes and the center of town. It was a bonus having a stop for the free trolley that started running July 1. While the property is not new, the room we stayed in was comfortable and had all the conveniences we needed during our stay. The staff is friendly and keep the property clean. Having grills and numerous outdoor places to relax throughout the property was a nice touch. We will stay here again.

We had the perfect view of the Rockies from our porch, we saw elk every day walking the grounds. We enjoyed family game nights from all the board games they offer. It truly was one of our best family trips and Appenzell was perfect for it! Will definitely book here again when we come back to Estes Park!! And my kids loved the nightly s’mores

Property was clean. It could use some modern updates. The continental breakfast was very limited and vague… it was all simple carbs. It would be nice if there were healthier options like fresh fruit daily, cheese, granola, dried fruit, and more protein options.

Great spot!

Great stay for a night, wish we could have stayed longer. Pool area was great and the hot tub was amazing. It was easy to get in to and out of off the highway with popcorn and smores in the evening.

Great place to stay for RMNP visit. Quick drive to Estes Visitor’s Center for shuttle to park and access to River Walk and downtown restaurants. Great room with comfortable beds, clean, refreshed towels during stay, nice breakfast area, lots of kids in the pool.

First the jacuzzi didn’t work, it turned out to be the ground fault circuit was thrown, second no room service on first full day. Then our key didn’t work after a long hot day out shopping and walking, even the master key didn’t work. New door lock assembly, all good. Third day key not working again, got it fixed. Nice place, nice employees and management and maintenance crew. But stuff happens and we had a great stay. I’d go back!

Super cute property and hotel. Feels more condo like. Lots of spacious sitting areas outside on balconies // couches, chairs. A few fire pits around. Feels very Swiss and welcoming.
