AC Hotel Sevilla Forum by Marriott

Very cool Hotel, cosy deco, modern facilities, great wifi and friendly people. But way too noisy. Windows are not soundproof and it's located side by side with a highway. Also noisy on the corridor side.

I know the title of this review is a bit weird. Don Quichote was someone who did things in a totally unrealistic way. This is what you will experience in this "marriott" hotel (shame on you, marriott). Example. The lavendish breakfast. Eggs? Si señor, tenemos huevos revueltos (one jar of scrambled eggs with a dirty spoon to scoop them out. The jar is empty? One minute señor, we will bring new ones. Twenty minutes later, still no eggs, although the staff is busy running around doing nothing. It takes one minute to scramble eggs. But not in AC Sevilla. Example. The website brags about the pool. Big enough indeed. But we came too early in May. The pool only opens in June. Bad luck. No info on the website about that. And the nice pool was the reason (together with the - wrongly given - Marriott quality label) that we choose this hotel. Example. The suite. We booked the biggest room available, which is still called a "junior suite" whereas it's only a slightly extended room. Still crampy. And a smelly bathroom. Time to renovate dear GM. Is it all sufferinng in this hotel (I only give it 3 stars because I'm a generous guy)? No, there are some good aspects too. We had a nespresso machine in our "junior suite" and although we constantly had to call for refills, the refills were always given and the coffee was excellent. Same for the breakfast: the hotel provided a huge nespresso machine, with ample choice of capsules (strong, rich, no caffeine, just bame it). A very appreciated touch of luxury. Once the pool was open, we really enjoyed the pool in the afternoon, tired of strolling in the heat of the city. The water was perfect although it was funny to see that the locals only dipped their toes in the water hahaha. Good also was the fact that the hypermarket was within walking distance, same as the bus to city centre. Very convenient if you don't mind walking for ten minutes. Don't go to this hotel with high expectations, and you wont be disappointed. And raise your voice if you want something that is not immediately provided, the staff will do it's best to help you fight windmills.

Room clean, staff nice, but the breakfast was really disappointing. Little choice and not being replenished very often. Stale cornflakes, yoghurt kept in bowl with no ice , so they were warm. No offer of tea or coffee. I have stayed in Ac hotels before and had a lot better experience

We rented a car and thought it would be ok to stay a bit outside the city center. Wrong choice! We spent quite sometime to find this hotel. The stay itself is good. The service is friendly, the room is clean, the bed comfortable. But I would prefer to be closer to the city center next time I am in Seville.

We liked this hotel. Our room was clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. The staff were very helpful and polite. We had an evening meal in the hotel restaurant which was very good. The hotel allowed us to stowe our luggage for the day while we went sightseeing in Seville prior to flying back to the UK. Would have given 5 stars but the thing that prevents us from doing so is breakfast. Our experience with Spanish hotels in general is that cooked breakfasts never seem to be hot! Unfortunately this hotel is one of them. We would recommend this hotel, breakfast is just our 'thing', if you're not too bothered by that you'll enjoy your stay.

Very nice modern calm hotel on the outskirts of Sevilla. Perfect when visiting Sevilla by car , you can leave your car in the free parking and take the bus into the city. There is also a very big supermarket close by. The staff are very friendle and extremely helpful with everything you might ask for or need. the rooms are very nice and modern and quiet . There is a pool in the back of the hotel for a relaxing swim .It is very good price wise as well even in the summer during high season.

Far away from any known spots of city, this hotel is not to be tried again. Rooms are too small without coffee n tea maker and drinking water. Breakfast has few choice for veggies. Was afraid to enter the lifts as they felt unsafe owing to strong jerks. To be avoided.

Again the usual business hotel model: Hotel Owners and Management that really do not care. Just pay for a nice design at the lobby area to look interesting on the web site and everything else sucks. I could not imagine that a Marriott hotel could be that bad. First day the room smelt really bad from the toilet. Could not understand why, but when I opened the tab all water run under the sink and on my feet! How can you not notice it? Room very noisy. Service not speaking English. Breakfast ridiculous.

It does not appear that being a platinum elite member has any special privileges, such as room upgrades. I used points for this hotel, as a layover point. It is sufficient for a short stay. Not long after our arrival, two bus loads of tourist arrived and instantly took-over the dining area. Which made it difficult to get the attention of someone to order a beer, as they were busy attending to the others.

The rooms are nice, a good size with a large bathroom and an excellent shower with thick towels. There is easy free parking right in front on the street. The wifi works well both in the room and the lobby. However, the air conditioning in the rooms sucks, and the breakfast is sufficient. Strangely, the shampoo and body gel are exactly the same stuff. All in all, though, good value for the money.
