The room was spacious and clean. The bathroom was refurbished to a very good standard.
We recently had two rooms for one night in this hotel. Both rooms were very clean, and the staff was friendly and helpful. However, both rooms had issues with the doors, so I would not recommend this hotel. One room had obvious damage to the door and the door did not lock. In the second room, the door didn't fit well, so we literally had to slam it HARD to get it to close. Also, a minor issue compared to the problems with the doors, but neither room had a toilet paper holder, so the roll just had to sit on the counter.
Large hotel with friendly staff and large comfortable room. We looked for a hotel close to the airport at a reasonable price. Perfect. Three miles on back roads to the airport ... easy. Excellent breakfast at a reasonable price.
I was travelling from Newcastle to go to Airport and was using your hotel for an overnight stay. I did not realize it was so far.
