The "Haus zum wilden Manne" in Erfurt is considered a true gem among local accommodations. With a fantastic average rating of 9.7 out of 10 on Booking.com, this historic, lovingly renovated vacation home has truly earned the title of “Erfurt’s most beautiful vacation home.”

The enthusiastic guest testimonials and reviews on platforms such as werkenntdenBESTEN and 7Fridays paint a picture of a perfect oasis of well-being right in the heart of Thuringia’s capital.

- A historic retreat where you’re guaranteed to feel at home -

The approximately 90 m² vacation home captivates guests above all with its perfect blend of historic charm and modern comfort. Guests rave about the cozy atmosphere. Many visitors emphasize that you immediately sense the “lovingly designed, cozy interior” and “feel right at home from the very start.”

The owners run the house with obvious passion. In reviews, they’re regularly described as “absolutely nice and warm-hearted hosts” who anticipate their guests’ every need.

The perfect location: Right in the heart of the city, yet idyllically quiet

Located on Kirchgasse, the hotel is in a prime location in Erfurt’s Old Town. The famous Krämerbrücke, the Old Synagogue, and Domplatz are just a few minutes’ walk away.

Centrality meets tranquility:
One guest sums it up perfectly in their review: “The accommodations are super central, yet still offers a wonderful, relaxed tranquility—ideal for extensive sightseeing.” Unique comfort: A special highlight for many vacationers is the outdoor area. As one reviewer on 7Fridays praises: “We really appreciated being able to have breakfast in the morning on our own terrace in the sun, so close to downtown.”"

- First-class amenities across three floors -

With two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, and an inviting veranda, the house leaves nothing to be desired.

Cleanliness is also repeatedly highlighted in the reviews: “The accommodation was spotless, and everything you need for a perfect stay was provided.” A little architectural adventure awaits on the upper floors: While the first floor is easily accessible, a narrow spiral staircase leads to the upper bedroom—here, as guests jokingly but gratefully note, “you definitely need to have a sure footing.”
