Estero Beach Hotel & Resort

3.5 out of 5.0

Recent guest reviews

Private entrance to small beach, for about 10 to 20 people. No safe in the room, you must carry all your money and valuables with you.

My recent visit was great. The hotel was extremely well kept, not like others in Ensenada. Getting to the hotel was easy and check in was seamless. Without asking we were given a room over looking the pool and with a partial ocean view. The beds were comfortable and the room had all the basic amenities you need. The pool area and Jacuzzi were clean and even though it was raining, we still got to enjoy them. We were also impressed by the staff and their friendliness. From Eric, the sushi chef, who tended to us while we watched the Canelo vs Chavez Jr. Fight, to Luis the hotel manager who showed us the whole property. We even had a waiter offer to take us to downtown because we missed our Uber driver. I would totally recommend Estero to anyone and I know I will be going back in no time.

We loved our stay at this peaceful and beautiful hotel. The pools and saunas were fantastic. One could relax in the sauna and look out over the beauty of the waves breaking on the shore. loved it.

It was such a wonderful and relaxing stay being right there in front of the ocean everything was so clean friendly and inviting.

100% recomendable es mi primera visita al hotel y regreso de nuevo

Wonderful hotel the staff was so nice, friendly and also there for your needs it was so relaxing beautiful and very clean.

Beautiful setting and great service. Though well maintained the facilities are beginning to show their age.

I loved my stay here when I got in everyone was nice, although the front desk guy did question why would two guys stay in a room together which was a strange thing to ask. I loved the restaurant and the bar, the pool was very relaxing as well. This place is very secluded so if you plan on going to town it isn't a small walk away but the taxi drivers are very nice. The only bad thing is the toilet chain broke off so we couldn't flush until they fixed it at the same time the shower didn't want to drain, at the end of the night when I used the restroom the toilet just kept draining all night so they need to update the bathroom but the staff was very very friendly when they came in to fix it and they came by really fast.

The setting is gorgeous. An equivalent in Hawaii or continental U.S. would cost 3 times as much--at least. Great for relaxation and rejuvenation. Ensenada, with its shopping and some great eats, is nearby. Sadly, traffic, pollution, and squalor is all about you once you leave the extensive grounds of the resort. However, it is also the gateway to beautiful Baja to the south--if you have the time and the boldness.

Easy early check-in, beautiful ocean front room! Had a mini fridge but really wish there had also been a microwave in room. The hotel restaurant was well priced, excellent service, just wished the dinner options included some typical Mexican food choices like the lunch menu (really craved some of the lunch items like enchiladas at night)! Lots of construction going on around the grounds but they were not noisy, just an eyesore, really and they will make the hotel even more picturesque! Can't wait to return!!!

Enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back again.

I really liked the pool and private beach. It's great for a family vacation or for a romantic getaway. I'm definitely coming back.

This is a perfect get away. Secluded and tucked away. I'll be back!!

The hotel was perfect ! There is everything you need , from great restaurant to water activities. There is a private beach and pool on site. More than anything else , I enjoyed the service I received from the staff. They Made my stay very welcoming. Most spoke English and very friendly.

Great Location! Nearby the Bufadora which is a must see in Ensenada. Also, horseback riding on the beach for less then $10 dllrs a few kilometers before the bufadora (off the resort property). The resort is super safe with security guards 24-7 on the resort grounds. Try to eat Birria at the local stand(off the resort). I was raised nearby Ensenada so our family vacations during the summer have been spent in Ensenada and I've traveled the world and few things come close to the Beauty this city has.

Hotel under construction. Staff still made our stay very comfortable. Rooms need a little updating. Property is nice

Please look and book elsewhere. This resort is in various states of disrepair and needs much help. The grounds are not well maintained. You may find personal and intimate effects of previous guests in your room. Ants seem to have taken up permanent residence. Sadly I cannot say much nice about the facility other than the front desk staff was nice and pleasant.

The room and view were lovely, but the staff were a hit or miss. The majority of them were very unfriendly. Also, the entire resort was INFESTED with mosquitos. My husband and I came home covered in bites and we wore repellent. Miserable experience. Also, beware of the bartenders at the pool. They changed the prices of drinks every time we ordered.

Better believe it...Ensenada was the trip well worth the drive. I experience el centro with the family. Visit the Bufadora. An amazing experience.

They disnt give me the room infrint of the swimming pool.
