Its a very scenic property. The buildings are aged, built in 1947. The pool and jacuzzi were being remodeled. Room service could be better. The restaurant and bar are top notch.
Property on the outside was nice, inside was ok but a little dated and could use some improvements. Mostly in the bathroom area. Otherwise very nice.

In a great location next to the marina and two restaurants for breakfast or brunch. Great view of the the ocean and downtown is a 7 minutes Uber ride. Will visit again the next time I'm in Ensenada.
I have stayed here before in one of the larger houses and I have to say that I really enjoyed the Bungalow much more. They appear to be newer, cleaner and definitely have the best view. They should have an onsite convenience store and better dinning options. It is difficult and inconvenient to go to a local store. You have to dart out onto a very busy highway and make a u-turn and do the same to get back. Also, even when you pay with a credit card they ask for a cash deposit. Seems a little overkill. The room is beautiful, the view is absolutely gorgeous and I would definitely stay here again. The kitchen is full service. It had plates, cups, utensils, blender, toaster, oven, it was absolutely complete and we made a wonderful meal. I highly recommend this property and in particular the Bungalows.
I love staying at this place due to its amazing location and its amenities. But, in my last two stays at the location they have not been turning on the hot tub and even after asking if they could turn it on for us as guests, they refused to do so. They claim that they only turn on the hot tub during weekends, yet the last time we stayed on a weekend they also declined to turn it on for us. We stay at this location hoping to use all of its amenities and make plans to use the pool and the hot tub but the staff refuses to do so because of the cost to heat the water, as the hotel management stated. I would suggest that if the guests are paying for all of the amenities and facilities listed in the hotel's description, then they should be given what they paid for, or otherwise state that there is no hot tub for guests. I am very disappointed and hope that the hotel management resolves this.

I stayed in one of the bungalows. I could easily see myself staying there for a week or two. They are spacious and clean.
It will be amazing once all rundown bungalows are renovated.
Nice location but over priced because the villas look from the 50’s. Felt very secure and all the staff was very friendly and helpful over I would come back but maybe to the remodeled villas !
We found a Christmas tree in our room! with lights! nice surprise. We staid in room 103, very clean and pleasing.
Bery comfortable bungalow right in front of the bay. Very clean, well designed bathroom. Well appointed kitchenette. Nice bed and fireplace. We loved it!

Thank you for your review. The security deposit does not have to be cash, it can be a hold on your debit/credit card as well. Although cash is preferable since you get it back upon check-out rather than your card that receives back the funds at a future day depending on your bank. We are glad that you enjoy your stay.
