I had to holler quite a few times to get anyone’s attention to check in. I could hear people talking in a back room somewhere, but there was no one at the desk to check me in.

It was dirty and run down. We had dead bugs in the bathroom.
My family travels a lot and we always try to stay at HIE when we can because they are decent quality. The hotel staff at this one were horrible, check in took a long time and the breakfast was non existent. No coffee or hot items. We told the 1 person running breakfast they were out of all items and she said she would start working on it. 30 minutes later she had brought out only 8 biscuits. We spoke with the manager and he said he would see that it was restocked, that didn't happen. We finally gave up and left. Do yourself a favor and don't stay here. Other hotels in the area that have to be better. We won't be back.
Very hospitable staff, very clean and pleasant rooms, and I loved having the quiet and serene setting away from city and suburbs, but right off the Interstate.
Overall everything was great. Really good breakfast. Lady who was in breakfast room helping a real jewel. So pleasant and cheerful. Convenient location for our visit to family in Covington.stayed here about 5 years ago
Went to an event and needed a place to stay for the weekend. Everything was nice and it was a good value as well.
We had to get a room quickly due to canceled reservations the day before our vacation. Luckily we got a room at the Holiday Inn Express. We were attending our son's graduation from pilot training at Vance AF base in Enid. Although 34 miles from Enid, we did appreciate the cleanliness of the room and kindness of the staff. very nice stay.

Just a one night stay here as we relaxed after spending the day at Oklahoma State for Dad's weekend. Friendly staff and the rooms were clean!
Rooms were very clean and beds were comfortable. They did have a room with some cardio machines in it. Staff was friendly and I would stay there again.
Arrived later, easy check in, rooms were very clean, beds were extremely comfortable, plenty of hot water for showers, up early, GREAT breakfast, and incredibly easy checkout. Everything looked and felt new.
Was Visiting Friends at Ok college. A little far but room was worth it. Very comfortable.
The rooms were large and comfortable and nicely decorated. There was a large screen TV, desk, dresser, table and chairs, microwave, refrigerator and bar sink. We had requested a handicapped room and found that they didn't have one available due to a completely packed hotel. We had also chosen that hotel because the website described it as "pet friendly." They had only 3 rooms that allowed pets!!!! Of course, they were taken too. The clerk was very apologetic and decided to just let us take our dogs (2 Brussels Griffons)in and they would just have another pet room. It was either that or we would have to leave. There was a baseball tournament going on and their kids didn't quiet down until after 11:00 both nights. The pool was overcrowded and so noisy that our grandchildren left after only 10 minutes of earsplitting screaming. The noise was an issue for even other kids!!! Some kind of sound reducing method should be used in the pool area. Our grandchildren did go back a couple of hours later to a slightly less crowded pool. The breakfast wasn't anything special but there was plenty of it, with helpful attendants bringing things in constantly. The best feature of the breakfast was the warm cinnamon rolls and flavored creamer for the coffee.
