Classy and comfortable hotel

I love this hotel. This was my second stay and while it didn’t quite live up to the memory of the first stay, it nevertheless provided a good experience. There was live music in the bar when I checked in. Parking is in a private lot adjacent to the hotel. The decor is classy and creates a cozy boutique feel. The room and bathroom were spacious and had everything I needed. Breakfast was fantastic, fresh, and had lots of options.

The Tygart Hotel received a major renovation since I last visited over 30 years ago. The property is extremely well-managed. The staff is friendly and helpful. The dining room is first-class. I found my room a little tight and I was astounded to see plastering falling off the walls as I took the Exit from the 4th floor to the Lobby. All and all a good value and a good choice for staying in Elkins.

Very clean,excellent service and facilities great room restaurant is excellent also not to pricey great value for the money. Try the soup and flat bread. All foods great. Nice people, we will be back.

The property was very nice. The only complaint I had was regarding the continental breakfast. First it was set up on the bar in the main area instead of the adjacent dining area. Second, it had no healthy breakfast choices- no regular oatmeal, no dry cereals without sugar, no multigrain bagels or English muffins, no yogurt without added sugar. The fruit salad was good however any one additional healthy option would have improved my stay. Thank you.

Pleasantly surprised by Elkins and a great hotel.

We were so comfy and happy at this hotel! Every staff member we interacted with was super friendly and helpful and our room was clean and comfortable. Lots of walkable options nearby (grab delicious coffee at TipTop) and it was convenient to some great hiking trails and natural areas. We would happily stay again.
