My son's and I stayed at Fatumaru Lodge for 8 nights, and weren't disappointed. We loved our stay at Faturmaru, it was quiet not over crowded like other Resorts. The room was air conditioned and fan which was a comfort to the hot humid weather we had while in Vila. Our room was fantastic it was cleaned everyday and beds made, we stayed in Epi room right on the water you won't be disappointed with the view every day. Cooking facilities were good not that we cooked much it was a holiday for relaxing being a single parent. My son's and I swam in the pool or the salt water both were good to swim. Close to town about 10 to 15 min walking distance, close to Tana Rousette complex which has eating outlets and a cinema. At the top of driveway you can catch a local bus for 150 vatu. If you need any help don't hesitate to ask Bessie or the other staff they're the best. Bessie tankyu tumas i certainly found a dear friend and sista for life. If we come back will defiantly be staying with you again at Fatumaru Lodge the boy's loved it, tank yu tumas xx
We booked the Efate 2 bedroom apartment with huge lounge leading out to the terrace with gorgeous views of the harbour. A chef's kitchen was well used! Bessie and Nettie looked after us so well - such hard working ladies ready always for a chat and a good laugh. We were not expecting daily service as we had booked with Airbnb- it was wonderful returning from adventures to a clean and refreshed space. It was our 10th stay in Port Vila - 1st at Fatumaru. This is a great alternative to traditional hotel and rates as one of our best stays. We thoroughly recommend Bessie and her team at Fatumaru
Back again for my annual piece of paradise - unwinding and relaxing - staying in Seafront Studio Apartment. The accommodation as always is clean and comfortable and location remains absolutely stunning. Coming back each year is like visiting family. I cannot praise the staff highly enough - Bessie, Julie, Issac and the others are friendly, welcoming and very knowledgeable and helpful with regards to recommending tours, eateries and activities. I will be back!!
It was really nice staying. Very good location, just reasonable walk to the centre and seaside behind the house, where we could do morning swim over to the next shore and have our kayaking/ sup tours. really fun. Rooms were clean and with everything necessary needed, very comfortable to live. We had first 3 nights and wasnt doubt that we want to come back and stay out very last night at same place during our Vanuatu vacation. Staff was very fiendly, reliable and compliant. We could leave our unnecessary things and bags while we took tours to other islands in Vanuatu, which was very useful for us as we travelled really far from Europa and couldnt carry all things with us. Very thankful. July was extremly friendly and I had so long and nice talk about things over the world. I got so much to know about Vanuatu people and habits. Lovely.
Stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment which had an outdoor kitchen which was perfect for making breakfast each day. Bessy, Julie and other staff are all fantastic and very helpful and friendly. Bessy gave so much useful advice and organised tours. Only a short 10-15 minute walk into town with plenty of restaurants close by. Also the Banyan Beach Bar which is great for sunsets and cocktails in happy hour. Would like to try a sea front studio next time as the 2 bedroom apartments are set back a bit from the water. Looking forward to returning.
Fatumaru Lodge is amazing and the staff look after you so well. The accomodation is beautiful and well maintained. If you want a little piece of paradise this is your spot. Take a paddle first thing in the morning then breakfast. You can wander to town or discover this beautiful island. Thank you looking after me on my visit
We have been travelling to Vanuatu for 11 years and have tried a number of other accommodation but we always come back to our friends at Fatumaru Lodge. The staff are absolutely fabulous and a special shout out to my friend Julie who is totally adorable. Fatumaru is a quiet and relaxing place to unwind and take in the beautiful view.
I had 5 days solo in a water side studio and it was absolutely lovely. So great to have the paddle boards and kayaks available for fun and exploring. I then switched to a 2 bed apartment when my sister and brother in law arrived.Very spacious and comfortable. We loved the kitchen and enjoyed shopping at the big outdoor fruit and vegetable market so that my sister could cook up a storm and we could enjoy our dinner on the HUGE balcony overlooking the bay. Just glorious. Fatumaru Lodge is beautifully located close to the town centre and its very easy to get anywhere by simply hailing a bus on the street outside the lodge. Huge thank you to Bessie Tam Tam(Reservation and Account manager) who helped me organise my booking and who was so helpful to us during our stay. I cannot say enough about the friendliness and professionalism of all the staff. The pool and barbecue area is a delight and a very calm and welcoming place to be after a days scuba diving, waterfall hopping or exploring.I highly recommend Fatumaru Lodge. Tracey greenwood.
Only stayed for one night after coming in on a late flight, transfer was nice and easy. Staff were very friendly and gave us some good advice before heading out for our walk into Port Vila centre, which is only around a 10 minute walk away. Room was nice and clean and had a good nights sleep. Nice views to wake up to in the morning.
The staff were welcoming and helpful every moment. The room had a very large and comfortable bed. The cooking facilities are adequate to prepare breakfast and light meals. The pool was clean and clear. The lodge is on a bay about 10 to 15 minute walk to the town centre and market, where there is also a small supermarket. A local shop within 50 metres has basics like milk, bread, eggs and beer. Some good restaurants are within a few minutes walk. The staff helped us to book tours and find local bus drivers to take us around the island. It's not five star, but it is great value for money.
