I spent seven nights at Eleven Stafford Street in mid-March 2025. There are no on-site staff, so if that's important, you're in the wrong place. I like the quiet and privacy. The property is pretty and well maintained. It is conveniently located about half an American city block from a tram stop, making the ride to and from the airport very reasonable. The hotel has a direct dial into a cab system and the cabs were quick. There are plenty of bus stops and a Sainsbury's (grocery store) nearby.
For those of you who, like me, possess old knees, there is a steep flight of steps leading up to the front door of the building. My room was in the level below the ground floor, so I also had to negotiate a staircase that had a single, very thick banister that was difficult to grasp.
My room was lovely and well appointed. I didn't find the mattress to my taste, but it was fine for a week. My only complaint about the room is that there is no space in which to place clothing (that is, to unpack) for a week's stay. There is a desk with small drawers, but that's it. I did utilize the available hangers and hung what I could, but the wall-mounted rack didn't have a lot of space. There were hooks on the back of the door, where I could hang my coat, umbrella, etc.
The bathroom was very modern and there is a handy shelf above the toilet where you can place all the things you need. Requests for assistance are handled promptly, and the manager and cleaning staff were very accommodating.
