Michigan Fall Color Tour, Tawas Bay Retreat

Fall is one of the most beautiful times to experience Northern Michigan, and this peaceful, freshly updated retreat is your ideal home base for a color tour.

The home is just 15 minutes from Lumberman's Monument, where towering trees and scenic overlooks showcase the season's most brilliant colors, and minutes more from the AuSable River, Huron National Forest, and the Corsair/Silver Valley trail system.

Spend your days exploring miles of scenic trails, and take a leisurely afternoon walk along the East Tawas State Pier, or time wandering the shops and restaurants of walkable downtown East Tawas.

As evening settles in, head back to your private backyard, fire up the grill, and gather around the fire pit for s'mores, conversation, and stargazing under a crisp autumn sky.

Inside, the home has been freshly updated with high-end luxury vinyl plank flooring throughout the beautiful kitchen, dining, and living areas, giving the space a bright, modern feel.

The fully equipped kitchen makes it easy to cook and gather after a day on the trail.

With three bedrooms, including a kid-friendly twin room, the home offers comfortable rest for couples, families, or a girls' getaway alike.

Tucked inside an established quiet neighborhood, the space is perfect for slow mornings with coffee, creative work, family game nights, or relaxing after a day exploring the lake and surrounding nature.
Being centrally located to everything that makes fall in Northern Michigan special, this is where your color tour should end each day.

Comfy and great location!

This house was so comfy and cozy, especially compared to the hotel my friends were at. The owner really thought of everything. It's in a great location near the beach and near downtown. We'd definitely stay again!

Girls Trip - East Tawas!

This is my second time staying here and I hope to continue to stay here time and time again! We had the best girls weekend and everyone loved the home! It's conveniently located for a nice walk downtown and to our friends family cottages! I highly recommend staying here, you won't regret it!

Girl’s weekend

A nice updated home 8 blocks to shopping and restaurants. Close distance to a beautiful park and Lake Huron. We loved the secluded back yard where we sat outside and enjoyed catching up. The home is well stocked with anything you need. The bonus was each of us had our own bed. The main bathroom has a deep tub that is challenging to get into without any grab bars, but it was a good shower. The smaller bathroom has a walk-in shower with a rain shower head that was awesome. We would stay there again.

Cozy Place for a Getaway

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at this home. All newly renovated with two bathrooms. Enjoyed taking walks in the neighborhood and around town. Would not hesitate to rebook here. Had a few light bulbs out and couldn't find any replacements. Coffee pot did not work but Keurig pod side was fine. Floor is cold at night. A few extra area rugs in master would be nice with an extra thicker comforter. Love the Himalayan salt lamp in master bedroom for a nice, relaxed vibe. Nice back yard area. Slight trip hazard from kitchen to hallway. We were very pleased with rental.

The property was beautiful and just perfect. Check in/out process was seamless. Location was great. The A/C even though it’s a window unit which is normal for the north, it was very comfortable in all areas of the house. Everything was very clean and spacious. Backyard was Amazing! Plenty of parking space. Would definitely stay here again.
