Features a 1850 historic home previously known as the Brooks Home and Paine House that hosts gardens & farm fresh eggs. Walk to the Gelston House for dinner and drinks and enjoy a show at the famous Goodspeed Opera House.

Welcome to Creamery Road Karczma, your charming getaway in the heart of East Haddam Village. Our pet-friendly home is a perfect blend of historic charm and modern comfort, offering a relaxing atmosphere for all our guests.

You will reside in an 1850's antique home with modern amenities. The home is 2 stories. The Kitchen, 1/2 bath, Living room & 1 bedroom is on the 1st floor. On the second floor you will find the full bath, 2 bedrooms & office with daybed and the 3 seasons sun porch.

Nestled along the picturesque Connecticut River, our 1850s home has been recently updated to provide a cozy retreat while preserving its unique historical character. You can enjoy your morning coffee on the inviting front porch or savor dinner on the spacious back deck.

We are within walking distance of the renowned Goodspeed Opera House and the delightful Gelston House, making it easy to explore local attractions. Take a leisurely stroll to the river and immerse yourself in the natural beauty of our surroundings.

This was the coziest, most charming “home away from home” we’ve stayed at! Lauren was very friendly and answered any questions we had promptly throughout our stay. And it was obvious she put a lot of thought and time into the home for guest benefit. We hope to stay here a couple times a year!

We enjoyed a peaceful stay. Loved the decorations throughout this beautiful historic home and appreciated the thoughtful welcome items. The chickens were a fun touch! There was a hiccup with check-in, but it was eventually resolved.
