Our hostess was lovely. Good communication before our stay, clear instructions, and a good welcome with just enough information but not too much. The beds were comfortable, the en suite room clean, homely, roomy and provided with a small fridge and microwave plus crockery, cutlery etc which made our lives a lot easier. Very good breakfasts, she cooked our choices of eggs to perfection! All in all a great stay and worth the extra drive from the family members we were visiting half an hour or so away. We will definitely return.

Quiet stay

If you didn't like bananas there was no alternative. Cooked food was excellent though. Home made preserves and honey from local producer. King size bed was very comfy but single bed rather hard. Very peaceful place but parking was a little difficult at times. Overall a good base for exploring west and east Sussex.

A lovely quiet and spacious room, nice breakfast with provision for my wife’s need for gluten-free as a coeliac. Beautiful surroundings and a very kind and caring landlady, attentive to our needs.
