Positives Very affordable. Parking right outside the door (typical old school motel). Near local restaurants. Clean. Hot water. Fairly comfortable bed. Mini fridge & microwave. Negatives Dated interior. Slight musty smell. No wifi. Near active railroad intersection with horn required. Long term residents who are loud well into the night. TV with very weak volume even at max. Window AC unit mounted in wall. The big question - will I stay there again if in town for the same event? No - I will pay more and/or drive further rather than stay again. But - if you need a cheap place to stay and can tolerate the negatives this may be the place for you. The train and long term residents are the tipping point.
