We stayed here for two nights on a short visit to Dusseldorf and it was such a lovely hotel. The lobby and room were slightly dated but nevertheless very posh. We stayed in the quadruple room which despite the photos we saw, was actually two separate rooms within the same room, as well as an extremely huge and modern bathroom. The very large flat screen TV had a BBC World News channel in English which was great. We had breakfast on one morning and there was such a variety of different things to eat although I would say it's a little overpriced. There's a bakery literally across the road with really affordable prices and lovely food for breakfast. We had our car with us so we parked in the multi story carpark across the road for €19 per night. It was a short walk into the centre of the city through the beautiful park with many hares/rabbits roaming free. The staff in the hotel were very friendly and welcoming and I would definitely recommend staying here because from the outside it looks like an average hotel but on the inside it's actually very nice.

I stayed here multiple times (20+) in the past year (regular business trips). The hotel is in walking distance from the city center (through a nice park). The staff is polite and helpfull. The rooms are furnished with a bit dated furniture, but are big enough (some are suprisingly big) and very clean. The place is very quiet, thoug the rooms can get very hot in summer, as they dont have A/C. Still it was super and I can only recommend.

I stayed in this hotel for 3 nights over the Easter weekend. The hotel staff was very welcoming and friendly. The reception area was very nice and clean with very comfortable chairs to relax. The rooms had an old retro style but was not worn down and were immaculate. I was very impressed and would have paid a lot more money than the £32 per night that we paid for a double room. Please ignore the bad reviews. The hot water was hot and the shower was very powerful. We had a brilliant stay and would highly recommend staying here. 5/5

Nicely located hotel, where we got a big room, although with a quite heavy smell from the thick fitted carpet. Found out the first morning that there was no hot water at all from the taps (switched off). Told the reception staff, who promised to look into it. By late afternoon, it had still not been handled and we had to emphasise that it wasn't good enough that it, as they said, "may or may not be resolved today", as it was Saturday. Eventually, it was fixed before we returned late evening (they didn't call me as promised, though). When checking out on Sunday, we complained and asked for some compensation, as we had been forced to pay at arrival. The lady at the reception had no authority to handle this up front (and apparently nobody else either) and asked me to send an email. Did so, and also sent a reminder. Still no response from them after three weeks.

I was pleasantly surprised by the large rooms. We had a twin room on the 5th floor and although dated, the room was spacious with a balcony and additional seating area. No frills with the additional extras, was glad to find the €4 price tag before I drank what I had assumed was complimentary water. Having paid for the breakfast I would recommend others don't. It was one of the less inspiring breakfast buffets I've had. Overall though the staff were friendly and everything about our stay was fine.

We stayed here 2 years ago for 3 nights during the Tour de France and came back for 4 nights, this December, for the Christmas Markets. The hotel is well situated, next to a tram stop and the Nordstrasse underground stop, which gives easy access from the main train station and getting to the main sights in Dusseldorf (it's on the same line for the main town and the football stadium). Additionally it was only a 10 minute (€20) taxi ride to/from the airport. The staff are really friendly and helpful, there is free wifi and the beds are really comfortable. Breakfast was €20 so a cheaper alternative is Kamps bakery, across the road. Overall, I would recommend staying here. In fact, I've booked to come back again in 2019

We enjoyed our stay here and would return, very comfortable soft beds, cleaned daily, did not have tea/coffee facilities in room, but wasn't an issue, bathroom had wash toiletries there to use with hair dryer, any amount of towels. We were on 1st floor, room 112, 1 room away from lift, there was another lift at other end of corridor. Bottle of water with 4 euro price tag on it ?? did not use. Found all the reception staff friendly and acknowledged us on passing. Had room only so cannot comment on breakfast etc. 20-25 euro taxi to/from airport.

Stayed here in 2017 for a convention in the City and was very impressed, so booked again. This time around it was disappointing to say the least. My room was large enough, but felt old and musty, and the carpet was filthy. Furniture is dated, and the overall feeling is of somewhere in decline. Breakfast was ok. What made this worse was the rate - at more than 400e a night this wasn't worth it, even at the busiest convention time. Won't be back a third time

I stay in Dusseldorf most weeks and am slowly working my way around the less expensive hotels and am very impressed with this place. GOOD Location right next to several tram stops plus the metro, a nice park, shops, restaurants and city centre Very quiet at night Huge rooms and good bathroom Super clean Leather chesterfield style seat i room Excellent free WiFi Quick check in with very friendly staff Nice breakfast for 12.50 Euro STRANGE There is a huge gap (1cm) between bottom of the main door so that i can see shadows of people walk past in the corridor. Its not a privacy problem but a bit odd. The toilet is located really close to the wall (see pic) so it is quite a squeeze to use it comfortably. I wonder who placed it there when there is otherwise so much room! BAD There is a ice bar in reception but it is not staffed. A pity as i like a beer before retiring. Overall I will definitely come again and may make this my permanent pad.

Just arrived back yesterday 23rd October..after a 3 night break with my husband and 16 year old daughter.. Fantastic reception staff very help full....bedroom larger than what we was just a bit confused that the bathroom was so modern and up to date but the bedroom was so coffee facilities in the room...also the tv doesn't work even though that was very modern to... All in all we had a pleasant stay ..x
