Property was not as pictured in the photos bathroom was damaged space heaters were used for heat water was not working properly taking a hot shower and cold water would fluctuate in and out the WiFi quit working and the staff connected it to a near by hotel really the only thing I can say good about my stay was the staff was very professional and nice
The property and rooms were disgusting. Outside there was trash everywhere, including a dirty sock hanging in the bushes. The rooms were no better. Every piece of glass had dirty, smeared fingerprints all over it, crumbs in the love seat, pee on the toilet, hair in the dirty tub, stained sheets and the heater didn't work (it was 58 degrees in the room) . Their listing says pool and hot tub but both were empty and were being used to store boxes and other garbage. STAY AWAY!!!
Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good. Pool was closed due to major maintenance, but this deficiency was not mentioned in the Orbitz on line listing, which may have affected our decision to reserve here, as there were many other options available.
They had no heat in the rooms, didn’t let us know and was no other rooms available at other comparable hotels in Durango. Front desk person was not helpful and pretty rude about it. Hard beds. Only one small waste basket in room. Very noisy. Only 3 pillows for a king bed and 2 people.
Room was nice. Staff were accomodating and polite.
It was OK if you liked watching the manager/owner yell at an employee, a used wash cloth in your shower, rolled up toilet paper in the peep hole or a bed bug on your bed. Other than those things it was fine.

They allowed me to check in and did not inform me that they had a hot water problem and at 9 o’clock at night. It is still not repaired. The whole complex does not have any hot water.
This was a very mixed experience. PRO: include cleanliness, friendly staff, and granite in bathroom. CONS: there was a very strong perfumy odor control scent that made it hard to breathe, the area was very noisy, and we were given a room in an alcove that could be reached from the back side through an unlocked door. Worse yet, people seemed to think it was a good idea to smoke cigarettes and dope at night in the alcove since the rooms are non-smoking.
They had a really nice breakfast starting at 7 am. We enjoyed the hot tub in the evenings when we got back to the hotel. Staff was friendly and hotel was well kept. We liked the location.
Clean rooms. Hotel is located near bike trail that goes all around Durango . And conveniently located within walking distances to a few great restaurants Staff was friendly

Room was adequate but seemed ho-hum, even compared to other Best Westerns. "Reserved" parking was a joke, numbered parking slots were illegible. Very friendly & chatty person at check-in, but too much so. Took 20-25 minutes while he fielded 2 phone calls plus us. Nothing really wrong, nothing really great.
The area around the pool and hot tub is particularly nice really pleasant to hang out and the hot tub was wonderful.What makes this place is the staff who were accommodating and friendly and when I thought I had lost my wedding ring tore up the room to help me find it. I can't say enough about how grateful I am.
Animas Mountain Trailhead is within a 5-minute walk of Baymont by Wyndham Durango while other popular sites like Durango Community Recreation Center are within a 15-minute stroll. The 65 rooms at this hotel include sitting areas, refrigerators, and microwaves.

Sorry for your Inconvenince caused at your stay, we have cancelled your reservation and refunded the entire amount for your stay, the room which we assign you has the heat inside only thing is you need to know how to turn it on.
