Really pleased with our stay in this lovely 'boutique' hotel. It's quite individual and the rooms are extremely spacious with swanky bathrooms (rain shower and Rituals toiletries - my absolute favourite!). The location is also very convenient for the train station and the city in general. Loved the breakfast. Totally recommend it!
I stayed at the Stage 47 hotel this week during a business trip to Dusseldorf. I picked this particular hotel because of its main advantages which proved to be correct: it is very close to the city's main train station, to the main boulevard (Kuniegsalee) and to the Japanese quarter - as it is located in one of the side streets, nothing too exciting besides the Turkish Doner (excellent btw) across the street. So in terms of location I preffered this one over Hafen hotel which are a bit disconnected from the city. In terms of cleanliness, the hotel is spotlessly clean and rooms are reflected honestly through the hotel's website. The team at the reception were always present, always kind and gave a warm sense of hospitality. The breakfast is more than you'd imagine, served at a nice space above the reception. All in all I enjoyed my stay at Stage 47 and might return there again on my future visits to Dusseldorf. However, if I had to point a few down sides to this hotel, I would mention that rooms have tendency to be dark and lack any impressive street views (mine faced the back, though front won't be as interesting as well), and to whomever this may be of importance - the hotel doesn't really have a lobby besides a small reception desk with beverages and snacks. To me it didn't really matter but for some this does feel a bit disappointing. Besides this, no special facilities in the hotel (i.e. gym, spa, business center etc.). Thank you Stage 47!
Visited for the weekend. Fantastic boutique hotel a short walk from the main train station. Ideally located , near to the shopping and a good walk to the old town. Rooms very spacious ,and strikingly decorated. Breakfast was delicious with a good choice available . Staff very friendly informative and helpful. Would highly reccommend
Last week we stayed at this hotel when we visited the Caravan Salon. It appeared to be a special but romantic hotel for couples. We had a very comfortable stay in a junior suite. We were given an unexpected free upgrade which came as a surprise. The next morning we had a very good breakfast, so we are very satisfied about our stay. The only minus point is the location in a rather dull street without any nice views or outside space.
We stayed in Stage 47 during a European Road Trip in July and was very impressed. The staff are friendly and helpful and the room we had was large, clean and well equipped. The hotel also offers parking for a 18 Euro per night charge which I thought was very reasonable. Stage 47 is located only a short walk from Königsallee and the staff were happy to hold on to our luggage after we checked out so we could have lunch before leaving Dusseldorf.
My husband, toddler and I stayed here and cannot fault it, the customer service was outstanding, rooms very different, quirky, comfortable, clean and big. They even put in new mattresses while we were there for all the rooms. The buffet breakfast was good, even had gluten free bread for me. Central location. We only saw business men staying, it sure if that is their main clientele however I think it was perfect for families too. Again really really happy, highly recommend. Thank you for a great stay!
Were upgraded to the masionette suite from executive room on arrival. Room is very good except there is a spiral staircase which limits the luggage u can take to the first floor. But the bed is huge & sob comfortable. Bathroom is very nice with great shower and lovely products to use. The fresh cake & chocs upon arrival are a thoughtful touch. We walked to the old town which is 30 mins. Despite being on a main road the room was quiet for sleeping. Breakfast was in an eclectic setting with lots of choice & delicious. Lovec all the little jam pots. Recommend.
My wife and I stayed here for one night whilst touring through the area. We arrived early and the friendly receptionist took our cases and then took my number, so that she could call me when our room was ready. She kept her promise and we were pleasantly surprised that our cases had been placed in the bedroom already. Each room is decorated in the style of a famous guest, who has stayed in the room. The standard of furnishing is high and there was free mineral water and delicious local cake. The breakfast was plentiful, with hot and cold food. This is a lovely hotel and well worth a visit.
I have searched long for a hotel in Duesseldorf I like to spend the night in. Most of what I had tried before in the area near the railway station (due to business reasons) was either old, overpriced or both. the area the hotel is situated in is not the nicest - but that counts for many cities near a railway station. However, the interior is truly nice. Rooms are dedicated to certain actors/actresses. By pure coincidence, I like Götz Alsmann and the room that is dedicated to him is the nicest I have been in. Some rooms (like this one) are maisonette rooms with the sleeping area accessible via stairs. The beds have a good quality, the wifi is strong enough and the bathroom spacious with immediately hot water. On top, the room offers complimentary San Pellegrino (normal size) and self-baked cake. The breakfast is in a very nice room and truly nicely arranged with adequate variety. And if this was not enough, the staff is one of the best I have experienced for a long time. Truly nice and forthcoming. I will be back.
We stayed 2 times in this hotel and those are the best times in Düsseldorf. We had a mezzanine room at first, then they upgraded us because the AC was leaking. We moved to the huge suite (approximately 60 m2, the one with Ina Müller theme). The room is so spacious, big bathroom, fully functioned 3 air conditioners, free flow of big bottle of sparkling water, and a balcony. The second stayed we choosed to have this room again. The night staff already reserved a parking spot in front of the hotel so we do not have to look again ( they already know we travelled with 2 babies), which is really helpfull. The breakfast was great with that price. The location is great, 10 mins walk to the Kö. Definetely will not be the last time we stay here.
