We are currently staying at this hotel. It's in a great spot just 15 minutes from the old town. The hotel rooms are quite basic, but clean and the beds are comfortable. There are great views from everywhere and lovely beaches near by. The pool area is very pleasant and even though the hotel is full you can always get a sun bed. The staff are all very friendly, especially Mario and the entertainment team. We're travelling with 4 teenagers so we picked this hotel for all the activities. The food is good, plenty of choice and always fresh fish. Great for a week away.

I have just returned from a weeks holiday with my husband and two friends having stayed at the Valamar Club. Our first disappointment was we had thought from our booking info we were all inclusive but not so, it is called all inclusive "light" which means you only get beer and wine with your meals all other drink and food is extra average, hotel cost for 2 large beers and 2 G&T's £18. There is no curtoursey bus although local number 6 runs regularly. A 20 mins walk to the nearest restaurants and bars. The pool area is great BUT no sunloungers have cushions on, most uncomfortable and the music can be annoying but then we are early sixties! The beach is private, you are welcome but at a high cost as each lovely comfortable lounger is charged for. Our rooms were comfortable and the food acceptable but "samey" The positives were the views and the area is stunningly beautiful and well worth a visit overall a lovely holiday.

Location and views were fantastic ,local bus every 5 to 6 minutes into Dubrovnik 10 mins walk on fairly flat ground.Hotel food was fairly basic but the staff attitude was generally quite appalling .This was my 4th visit but had to change hotels at the last minute due to major improvements on the adjacent sea front (checked ,it was MAJOR) I would never stay in this hotel again the only saving grace was the excellent pool area. The room was on the ground floor with a balcony looking into some plants however this was a last minute change so maybe this was not the hotels fault .For a 3 star full board I would score it at 6 and thats being generous .

I enjoyed my stay in valamar club.the staff are friendly their is alot off food to choose from .breakfast is very good .lunch dinner are fine too we don't eat pork so they helped us to pick what we can eat .thank u . Room are clean its a good price and good service. I just want to say u need to pay or deposit on checking in . And the beach is public and its rocky beach not sandy. Thank u for everything we enjoyed our stay

Stayed here for 4 nights in May 2017 as part of a Leger Tour. The rooms are fair, in our case overlooking some pine trees to the back of the hotel. The room was clean as was the shower room, but the shower itself was fairly grubby and in need of a deep clean. It is a touristy hotel with a buffet style restaurant, extremely busy and very, very noisy as it has low ceilings. Crowded restaurant with very pushy people: no excuse for lack of manners. Frequently run out of glasses for juice and drinks, with a long wait for replacements. Food was fair to middling. Restaurant closes sharply at 9:00 pm and staff make a point of really wiping your table around you, swiping plates etc.on the stroke of 9:00 pm. Sitting out on the terrace was the most pleasant area. There were six of us travelling together and on one evening all larger tables were occupied by a couple at most, we wanted to see if staff could move a couple of tables together which were unoccupied, but they were quite unhelpful and only because of a kind couple seeing how we were being treated they moved along to let us sit together. Staff in general not overly pleasant or helpful. On the last evening our beds had not been made up although the towels and toiletries had been refreshed in the room. In four days the room was not vacuumed at all.

I only wish we would have picked for our upcoming honeymoon. So romantic and perfectly quiet and relaxing in the best spot. Just close enough to old town yet far enough to feel like a tropical oasis! The staff were friendly and helpful and the food was incredible. I have terrible food allergies and was so impressed at all of the choices to offer for all meals and so fresh. Counting the days until we can go back!

Ok so arrived mid afternoon definitely 3 star accommodation food is ok!! We are on full board plus drinks with meals, entertainment very poor!! Limited toddler kids activities that we could see!! Bad bits cost of drinks in hotel is horrific more London prices, therefore everybody buying drinks from local shop. No free water, sun beds so uncomfortable all plastic no coverss!! Charge for orange juice in mornings!! Dubrovnik is nice but shocking prices £25 for 2 wines!! Best bet by far stay in Cavtat, then visit old city once onLy!! Never said this before but would never come back to this hotel!! Hotel in my view have a lot to do it is clean though!!

Since our partner had a special agreement with the hotel management, I stayed 2 nights in this holiday resort hotel. The staff is very polite and gentle; the room rate, incl. breakfast was very reasonable.

Valamar Club Dubrovnik is a beautiful hotel. The rooms are a good size and very comfortable. The views are fantastic. The location is great - near a couple of little malls and right on the bus route to the old city. The breakfast buffet included every food you could possibly want and more. The omelet chef was wonderful. The breakfast staff were very attentive. We especially appreciated Ana, Mateo, Dea, Matudi, and Julo. The front desk staff were very polite and were always eager to help. The hotel tour guide was very helpful in finding where places were, giving directions for buses, making reservations and countless other tasks. We stayed here for three weeks in April, 2017.

We stayed 8 nights in July. The airport transfer was provided by the hotel for extra fee but it was a comfortable mini bus with air con and the chaffeur was very nice too. We got a distant room at the front left corner of the hotel, facing the park. The room was not too big but we had a balcony which was very nice. The only problem we had that the only way you could switch off air conditioning was by opening the balcony door. So either it was very hot and full of mosquitos or noisy and cold. We called reception for help but they said this is the only thing we can do. Also we only had one adjacent room but the walls were so thin we could hear them all the time. The swimming pool was very pleasant. There were lots of programmes around the pool all day such as water aerobic, kids activities and at nights there were great singing and dancing performances. We had all inclusive board, the food was plenty and delicious but it was really crowded and noisy as it was full of families. Location was really good, it was only 15 mins bus drive to the old town centre. There were 3 beaches around the hotel but you had to pay for sunbeds everywhere which were really pricey. We highly recommend to purchase the Dubrovnik Card if you want to visit the attractions in the old town as you can save up a lot with it. Overall it was a lovely experience, we can recommend this hotel for families or active couples.
