Small room, small bed – 130 cm broad. Bad value for money.Very old fashion. Room and bed for one person. Situated in a campus. There is a monastery in the complex. Breakfast in the student mensa. Fruit juice like in the supermarket.

Very comfortable room - plenty of parking despite comments that it is restricted - cafeteria served excellent breakfast - several retaurants within easy walking distance. On our second night, we were woken up by the fire alarm - apparently a not uncommon occurence when water leaks through a roof.

An excellent room in a super garden setting and a location with convenient bus links to city and airport. The included breakfast is good. This is good value for Dublin. The are pubs & restaurants nearby, generally with good beer and poor food.

Stayed here a few weeks ago and couldn't complain about one thing. The rooms are extremely well kept and the campus is so lovely and peaceful. Free parking which is also a bonus. Granne and Emily greeted us and had so much time for my wife when she came down with her questions ( also aren't too serious and we thoroughly enjoyed the Irish humour with the two youngsters). Very good value for money and definitely will becoming back. The only thing I would change would be the broken elevator as my legs got a bit tired after a long day of tourist activities.

Have read pretty good reviews of the place prior to booking, and must say, am not disappointed. Indeed, the grounds are peaceful and beautiful and we were happy with our first floor room that faces the lawn. Was really good value with breakfast in expensive Dublin, costing us 120 Euro instead of 130 Euro per night because we booked direct from DCU rooms. The campus is a short 3-4 minute walk via back gate to a bus stop with many buses going into the town center. There are shops nearby to get a Leap card and take the 15-20 minute ride to town. On our first day, we walked and it took us a good 45-50 minute at a leisurely pace. The bus stop is in the Drumcondra area, St Patrick campus. The staff was helpful and understanding, and waived our no show for the night that we were delayed due to train disruption at London Euston, causing us to miss our ferry connection to Dublin. The only thing we hoped could be better is to state clearly the address of DCU at All Hallows’ on our booking confirmation. The address given on the booking form was for the Glasnevin DCU campus when it should be Gracepark road for at All Hallows’. So do note the address and go to the Gracepark, Drumcondra campus!

The campus area was stunning beautiful, lots of garden and green space around. The food in the restaurant was very nice, especially the lunch options. Not a light meal, but definitely keeps you going for the whole day. The staff were helpful, and assisted with any questions. Laundry option is available, which was really helpful for us. Lovely place, might stay again in the future! The location was a bit far away from the city centre but doable nonetheless, it just took a bit longer than I expected. The squeaky doors were the most annoying thing, it was a bit difficult to sleep through the night while squeaky doors making hell of a noise.

Great find. University campus renting dorm rooms to travelers. Buildings were reminiscent of Harry Potter Hogwarts! Rooms were comfortable. Breakfast in the cafeteria included. Beautiful grounds to relax and enjoy solitude in the middle of the city. Close walk to a good assortment of restaurants. Very good value.

I used it for studying after college for 2 overnight stays, and it was perfect. The room was basic and clean, just what I needed, and the breakfast was lovely. I had a room up top which made for beautiful views, and the ground are beautiful. Very peaceful considering you are in the city. perfect for airport stopovers. i` would recommend as it is only a short trip to airport and it suited me as it was near college.

Economy accommodation in lovely grounds very convenient to Drumcondra and in easy reach of City Centre. Basic, clean and safe. Friendly obliging staff. Very interesting clientele on our visit! Breakfast offering average but plentiful.

I had to go to something in Dublin in late June. Alll the places I usually stay were booked out so I chose this as my backup via booking.com. 80 euros, 24 hours cancellation it'll do if i get stuck i thought. Well I got there and it is student accommodation with a shared lounge/kitchen but a very nice secure room and en suite which I wasn't expecting. About 6pm there was a load of noise outside and I thought "oh no! drunks banging around all night!" It turned out to be teenagers taking a short cut from football practice. There was a lot of shouting and banging and various mating rituals but half an hour later they were gone. I went to something in town and got back at must have been midnight. Everything quiet. Went to bed and slept well. If there was anybody staying in one of the other rooms in the flat I never saw or heard them. Anyway, the BIG BONUS. On checking I was given a €9.99 breakfast voucher. There is a canteen style place and i got a huge breakfast for free. There was a language school being held in the place and a lot of European students chattering away but they had one side to themselves. If you are going in and out of town by bus just get to kknow the stop to get back. It's in Westmoreland Street. Anyway I was impressed (somebody told me the parking was good too).
