This one-of-a-kind Yurt in the Live Oak trees is your PERFECT getaway from city life! Located in the heart of Texas winery/brewery country, your day trips are only minutes away! This one bedroom (king) is hosted by Airbnb's 2022 Top New Host of the State of Texas!



Relax in the private hot tub, stargaze, or sit around the fire on a 300+sq/ft deck surrounded by ancient live oak trees! The Hidden Oak Yurt is tucked away on a beautiful 9-acre property and offers all your modern amenities!



The Hidden Oak Yurt:



Tucked beneath towering Live Oaks, this 16-sided wooden yurt offers a cozy retreat with modern comforts and plenty of charm. Elevated on a deck, it feels like a treehouse hideaway with a touch of luxury!



Inside the Yurt:



-King bed with plush memory foam mattress



-Full-size couch + 50" Roku TV for movie nights



-Mini-split A/C & heat to keep you comfortable year-round



-Kitchenette with microwave, toaster, induction burner, fridge/freezer, sink, and fully stocked Keurig coffee bar



-Spacious bathroom with walk-in shower, full vanity, fresh linens, towels, and toiletries

-Large front deck with propane grill and fire pit (perfect for s’mores or stargazing)

Guest access

The Hidden Oak Yurt is one of three cabins on the property (two yurts and an A-frame).



Guests have access to the entire cabin/patio and surrounding grounds.



Do not climb or pass through any fences, or approach any other cabins as other guests may be present.



The front gate to the property and the front door to the yurt are equipped with keypad entry. The private code for entry will be given to guests prior to arrival.



Other things to note

There are 3 separate rentals on the property (See aerial photo for location reference). They are designed to feel as private as possible from each other.



The yurts are separated from each other by a privacy fence, as well as facing opposite directions.



Grill and fire pit are propane fueled (which we provide)



Cell service can be spotty —WiFi calling/streaming usually reliable (Starlink)



15 minutes to nearest grocery store, 10 minutes to a convenience store



Unpaved but well-maintained driveway (expect a little Texas dust!)



No smoking or pets allowed
The cabin is air-conditioned and features a balcony and 1.5 bathrooms, and there's space to spread out with a separate bedroom and a dining area. Other standard amenities include a microwave, a refrigerator, and a coffee maker.

The location is wonderful and surrounded by beautiful nature. The most memorable part is seeing old journals and photos of everyone who partook in making entries of their stays backing dating years. A timeless- time capsule to have inside such a relaxing atmosphere.

Loved my stay! This yurt has a really good vibe. It's spacious and clean. The deck is equipped with patio items that made it enjoyable to sit out. The hammock and Jacuzzi were added enjoyment under the big oak trees. If you are looking to get away and still feel safe, this is the place. It also gated so it added an extra measure of security. There is only one other yurt there but it's not visible. For the price, you can't beat it, and this place does not charge extraordinary amount for cleaning fee. I hope this place will stay competitive in pricing. I will definitely come back because honestly, I felt safe and so relaxed there. Thank you!

Wonderful little hidden gem!

My husband and I spent our 10 yr wedding anniversary there and it was absolutely what we needed! This place is so peacful and there are many great restaurants around. We recommend the Trattoria lisina! The place was very clean and easy to find. We are lookong forward to the next time we come back!

Wonderful stay!

Gorgeous property, private and peaceful. The other yurt on site was separated by privacy wall and several yards. We had a restful and peaceful weekend surrounded by gorgeous cedar trees. Everything was clean and well-maintained. It rained a bit while we were there, so we didn’t get to explore outside much, but the views from inside the cozy little cabin were gorgeous!

Cozy Yurt Cabin

We often like to spend time in a cabin out in middle of Texas Hill Country and this Yurt did not disappoint. The home was beautiful, clean, and quiet. You get the design of a yurt with all the amenities of a cabin. I like the patio deck where there is a grill and fire pit included.

Sweet escape.

My husband and I spent our 11 year anniversary at the Hidden Oak Yurt and we were so impressed. It was quiet but not too far off the beaten path. Our host, Derek, communicated so well and the property had everything we needed. The property was clean and updated. The bedding was so comfy that it felt like I was sleeping on a cloud. We had never stayed in a yurt before and it was more than a pleasant surprise. We will be back and I would absolutely recommend this property.
