The hotel is in a good location, less than 10 minutes fro the old town and about a mile from the central train station. Everything was decent, the room, shower, etc. About what you'd expect from a hotel like this in Germany. I will say that my bed was quite uncomfortable, although not unusually so for Europe. Breakfast was awesome, although after the third day I was ready for them to mix up the selection a bit but it was the same every morning. Good access to the trains (S-Bahn) to anywhere in the city.

new modern hotel just a short EASY walk to the old city center. very quiet, good sleeping. and again, the location is perfect. staff is very friendly and helpful with everything. has a streetcar stop right outside hotel for easy connection to anywhere in the city. room rate was fine too.

Was there for some days and liked the location as it is only a 10 minutes walk from the center of Dresden with all the tourist places and eateries and restaurants/bars. Further to the Neustadt is also reachable by foot, however it may take 20 or 30 minutes walking. The rooms were relatively big and in good condition and the matress was really good in my room. The bar is not too big, however the bar keeper I had was really good. Friendly, at service and not with a closed mouth yet funny. All in all a good choice and value for money in the relatively expensive city of Dresden. The check in fast and efficient with extremely friendly personnel. Parking in a park gararge below the hotel, parking not free and priced at 10 EUR per 24 hours. A good feature is the tram station just opposite the hotel entrance making commuting into the town and other areas very convenient. Would go there again.

Staying at a hotel during New Years can be troubling, however, this was definitely not! The hotel staff showed us great courtesy from the moment we stepped into the lobby to us leaving 48 hours later. The rooms are spacious, the bathrooms the same - and the breakfast buffet huge. Really. I have been at very few hotels offering more at a breakfast buffet than this - and they have all been exquisite 5-star hotels. Overall, this hotel provides you with plenty value for money - and hey, it is practically in the city center.

This hotel gets a lot of things right, and I would be happy to stay here again. The check-in process was quick. There were some issues with check-out, but the hotel resolved them quite satisfactorily via a subsequent email conversation. (I find it's much easier to evaluate a hotel based on how they handle something that goes wrong, which they did it very well here.) The room itself was clean and comfortable, it had a room darkening shade that worked, and it was easy to sleep well here. Random nice touch: I liked that the bath towels had little loops on them to hang them with. The breakfasts were also completely reasonable; I would rate them as above average. The negatives were not very negative. The decor was a little dated and could use a refresh. The wifi login was in German only but was easy to figure out (Click "Gast," then enter room number and last name). That said, there was not much bandwidth available at the hotel, so occasionally network access was quick but usually it was agonizingly slow. One last small nit was that a couple of times whoever cleaned the room flipped my used water glass over and put it back in the bathroom like it was new, but it was the same glass. I know because it had a slight crack in it, which is why I was hoping they would replace it. I guess reusing the glass is a "green" thing to do, but it seemed odd that it was put back like a new glass would be. So overall I was very happy to stay here and would gladly do so again.

My wife and I stayed at Dorint hotel 4 nights in october 2016. T.he hotel i great value for money. Best of all is the breakfast, which is perfect. Rich in variety and very good quality. Service was excellent. The room was quite big with a good bed and a nice bathroom with a bathtub. The location of the hotel is 10 min walk from the city centre. The sorroundings are mediocre, near a big road with quite a lot of traffic. Despite this the traffic could not be heard at all from our room with was facing the street. All in all very good value for money. A 4 star hotel we can definately recommend!

an 8 minute taxi ride from central station, has a tram station directly in front and the most important sights on both sides of the Elbe river are within easy walking distance. Prices are moderate and the food buffet was really good and had good variety.

I was there with my collegues for a longer weekend and really nice! rooms are clean, breakfast is great!!! also the restaurant is good and comfortable! Their wellness is also very very nice!!!Good to visit!

We stayed there over a night. Nice experience. A hotel is not new, but clean and good maintained. Extended breakfast (and crowds of people :))) ) - good variety and quality. Location is comfortable-in a walking distance from the Old city. Gadage parking is comfortable when travelling by car. We enjoyed...despite we were stuck in the lift for a while. In general I would recommend this property.

This place is ideal for people traveling in a car. It has an underground garage (€14 per day) that is connected to the lobby and it is close enough to the city center so that one can walk there. For the people on unsure footing there is also a tram connection straight into town. The general areas are nice and spacious and the rooms are well appointed (flat screen tv, hair dryer, wooden paneling, etc). There are a small number of English channels on tv but basically news channels. The bed was two twins combined, but the mattress was comfortable and seemed fairly new. Reception staff was friendly and provided free maps of town and tourist advice. There is a bar in the lobby and restaurant. They also offer 24 hour room service. The Internet connection in the room is free and very fast. The breakfast buffet is pretty pricey (€19 per person) so there are better options in town. Definetely recommended.
