La Quinta Inn Sandpoint

Convenient Sandpoint Hotel

The Sandpoint La Quinta is located near the main shopping district. This convenience makes up for the strange configuration of the hotel which is divided into three separate buildings hi just are there blocks apart. The included breakfast is in building 1 and we were in building three but as it was August the walk was no problem. Can't imagine the same walk in January though. Brrrrr.... the breakfast is typical and includes fruit, waffles, and terrible scrambled eggs. Stick to the other offerings. Hot tub is llocated in building 3 and is large and clean but we did not make it to the pool which is in building 2.

Fairbridge Inn & Suites Sandpoint

Pleasant Room, not so pleasant staff

The room we booked was the room we got with 4 queen beds. The room itself was clean, and while not overly exciting it was nicely furnished and well maintained. The wifi was strong and worked well. The only problem that we ran into was the lady behind the counter was less then interested in her job and made the check in process long and complicated by talking to anyone/flirting before dealing with the customers. This made us quite upset. There was also limited plug ins, so we had to unplug lamps/alarms before plugging in our electronics. Once passed her, we had a great stay and was surprised with the niceness of the room. They do offer breakfast, but it's on the scaled back side and we chose to skip it.
