The Raintree Dhaka3.5 out of 5.0

Decided to have dinner one night with my wife at the Raintree Hotel and we found it to be very cozy and luxurious! We were given a tour of all the room types and each one was superbly decorated with very good quality furnishings and equipment. We tried to eat dinner at the rooftop open air restaurant, but the mosquitoes were too much to bare so we went inside which was very elegantly decorated. My wife was very pleased with her pasta as I was with my fish and chips. The F&B staff were hospitable, but some needed a bit more training in humility.
Rooms not cleaned well, staff need more client service training (ex: they shouldn’t call rooms past 9pm to ask what time you’re checking out tomorrow; shouldn’t send maintenance to your room who don’t speak English to “check if it is indeed too noisy because of traffic outside” after they already told you that you’ll get your room transfer request; one room service waiter was just frowning every single time he brought food); my in-room Safe started beeping loudly at 4am for 20 mins until battery died and my belongings were locked in for a time; bidet suddenly spurts out piping hot water; shower started making very loud popping sounds one evening...overall just terrible value for money at $92/night! Many better options in Dhaka, just stay away from here.
Stayed here many times and everytime this property has exceeded my expectation. All i ever wanted is a nice bed for sound sleep , good shower and nice hot breakfast. Raintree Dhaka offers even more . I would highly recommend Raintree Dhaka for a nice peaceful stay in the heart of Dhaka. Staff is also helping and polite. The best part is you get a Wi-fi Router in every room. I have not seen any hotel offering wi-fi router in a room. This is just amazing. One suggestion, they could place water bottles and towels in the GYM.
Many forainer live here for there tour and all are satisfied for there services . There food is better also. There have big space and good environment . All there custome satisfied . It near form Dhak Airport and it a good place
First time that i went to Dhaka. I went for business. I found this hotel via Booking.com. The price was reasonable and i booked it. The staff was friendly, the room was moderately clean and the restaurant was below average. I do not recommend it this hotel.
The Hotel was unexpectedly good. Clean & well decorated rooms. The staff is very courteous. The breakfast was ok, but can be better. Mostly foreigners staying here. Good Security. The price was better than what was expected from a Dhaka hotel. Dhaka hotels are normally very expensive for the services offered
This stupid hotel cancelled my booking while I on my way flying to Dhaka. When I arrived at the hotel, the staff gave a very lame reason that my credit card couldn't be detected. COME ON~~~ I made the booking via agoda a week ago, but why they cancel my booking last min? Very simple, they oversold the room and choose to scarify me!!! Whoever consider to stay here please be careful. I had good fight with the staff but they still not doing anything for me. ThIs kind of hotel is worst than the rest of the haunted hotels!
We had two twin rooms located on the 5th floor and both rooms were of very good standard. A/C was good, bathrooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. The check-in was efficient and the staff polite. It was good value for money. The area around the hotel is relatively quiet but a short walk will get you to one of the centres of Dkaka were you find lots of restaurants and shops. The drive from the airport took us approx. 30 minutes which for Dhaka is good. The hotel has a very nice rooftop swimming pool with a nice view.
Neat and clean rooms and toilets, food is good and service is excellent. Is close to the Airport and reasonably centrally located in Banani area of the city. Buffet breakfast was included and was adequate. Would stay there again.
No Rains here, only drains and mosquitoes, rooms very small, bathroom also very small not great service reception could not locate my booking for last 24 hrs, even thou they let me checkin and also they wanted to charge for breakfast when it was included in room breakfast was quite pathetic won't stay again here, won't recommend this hotel
