The staff in every aspect of this hotel are amazing! Whether greeting at the door or hallway or completing a breakfast order, each staff member was friendly and quick-to-help. Breakfast was a great price and had a big variety of items to choose from, in addition to made-to-order omelettes, oatmeal, or pancakes. The airport shuttle service was a huge help for our group. The bed was comfortable and, though the air conditioner didn’t seem to change temperature levels, it kept the room a cool retreat to come back to. I would definitely stay here again, top choice!

It's conveniently close to Kemal Atatürk Ave, which has many coffee shops, places to hang out. The hotel has an outdoor pool and a small gym, with basic equipment - good for a quick workout. The waterflow in the shower drainage wasn't great, often resulting in a pool of water that you're standing in, waiting to clear.

The staff was very kind and attentive. The room was very comfortable and clean. The air conditioning and shower worked well. Room service was prompt and tasty. The breakfast was adequate. The elevator broke while I was in it, and I had to be rescued and climb out! The spa was closed both times I went, and the gym was dark. It seemed like about half of the hotel wasn't being used.

This hotel is ideally located within close proximity to shopping areas, restaurants and the very beautiful Banani Jamia Masjid which was about a 10min walk. The area is very clean and safe. The Hotel offer complementary airport pick-up and chargeable airport drop which was very handy. The staff go above and beyond to help and assist. The room and bathroom was completely spotlessly clean and the complementary juice and sweets made me feel very welcomed. The gym was overall quite well equipped, however, I would recommend they add a regular adjustable weight bench instead of the current one they have. I would likely stay again in the near future.

This is a pretty good mid-level hotel for one or two nights in Dhaka. We are a family of 4 and were looking for one room. The problem is that most 5-star hotels don't have a family room to accommodate 2 adults and 2 children (12 and 7 yrs old). Interestingly, this hotel has a queen-queen room, which can accommodate our needs. The beds are actually queen bed size, which is a plus. The rooms are a bit dated and our bathroom was quite small. The biggest issue was air conditioning unit noise. The unit itself was very old. The breakfast was reasonably ok with not much varieties. On the real positives, the services from the hotel staffs along with the airport pickup and drop-off, were top-notch. Overall, it was a positive experience.

The room is so small compared to the same grade room on other hotels. There are few amenities. The breakfast is not tasty. The from manager is terrible. He treated my Bangladeshi friend like a criminal.

Good place to stay if you are on a diet

If you're looking for a nice quiet place to stay in a popular area, then look no further! The rooms are good and the staff is very nice and helpful. However, the food variety is limited. The food taste is okay, but the portion size is the smallest in the world - or maybe they just didn't serve me well! All in all, this is a great place to stay if you're looking for a quiet, comfortable place to stay in a popular area.

Being from the US, everything about being in Dhaka is unique and sometimes strange, but The Royal Park Residence Hotel was home away from home for the week and was wonderful. The room was clean and had all typical US amenities. While the hotel is not in a new building, the interiors appeared to have been updated and modernized fairly recently (as in the photos). The electrical outlets are 220 V, but had universal sockets, so adaptors were not required. Wifi worked, staff was welcoming, gracious, and knowledgeable. Security is robust with fulltime guard and door attendant etc., The restaurant was fantastic with an extensive menu. Everything we tried was delicious. While I didn't have a chance to swim, the pool area looked like a great place to relax and maybe cool off (as in the photos).

Need improvement in service level

The overall experience hasn’t been really at the level of my expectations. Due to the price and the higher star rating (4.5), I have chosen this hotel for the first time while I came to Bangladesh before. The first impression was good, but we then have encountered several problems. I had to change the room after the first night as the aircon didn’t work. Internet also didn’t work for almost 14 hours and then has been cut again on the last day. The signal was pretty weak in the room anyway. The worst part of my stay there is probably when I have booked a car for bringing me to the airport and it came with 40 minutes delay adding a lot of stress to finally get my flight at the very last second.
