First Stay: I was alone. They didn`t provide me toothbrush. I asked front; why there is no toothbrush ? They told me; you should ask for that. I thought that this is their policy to save money from toothbrush. In Dhaka even a very cheap hotel you can find toothbrush at room. Next morning, 8:30 am someone nocked my room to check mini bar. I stay many hotels in many countries but Dhaka Radisson was my first hotel they came to check mini bar before Check out. Check out time was 12:00. Second Stay: I was with my wife and my baby girl. This time they provide only one toothbrush. I request front desk to give me two more toothbrush. Third Stay: I explain my previous experience in front desk. This time they provide me a good room. But I found that the corridor of 4th floor with lots of dust.(Carpets are dirty)
Very good hotel. I suggest it in particular for business. A lot of facilities, various restaurants. Breakfast was one of the best I ever had. Good location between the airport and the city. One of the best in Dhaka
The staff is amazingly friendly and charismatic. They guided me through everything regarding whatever I wanted to do in Dhaka. They have great tips for travelers. The restaurant is really good and it has a good variety of foods. The staff in the restaurant is also really concerned with customers' well-being and comfort. This hotel is a role model for customer service.
It had been a few years since I was at Dhaka Radisson with my family or friends. So a quiet Saturday buffet lunch with a friend and his family, after the New Year, was a good opportunity to enjoy Radissonian cuisines, which I and my wife always like very much. The diverse main dishes from western, Italian, and Indian origin were really very tasty. I particularly liked the wide range of starters and salads - those were just great! And the desserts - what can I say! We all left a significant portion of our stomach empty as we wanted to taste as many beautiful sweet items as possible. And we were not disappointed by any means. After lunch, we spent sometime around the pool side when adults chatted, children ran around. It was really a relaxing afternoon indeed, with old friend's family. Expecting rush on Saturdays, I booked our table a few days before, over phone. It however was not too busy. There are some offers available on certain debit/credit cards. One needs to check before availing of such benefits.
Let's be clear, if you're travelling to see the 'real' Dhaka, want to experience the city's culture and its lifestyle, then this isn't the hotel for you. Unless, that is, you want to believe that Dhaka is a spacious, marble-clad metropolis with gentle piano music in the background... (It isn't). As a business hotel however, it's ideal. Perfect location near the airport, good facilities, and the staff remember your name. Funny, but that's important when you're away on your own for weeks on end. Unfortunately, there isn't a skyscraper tall enough that would take you far enough away from that incessant traffic noise... Still, short of quadruple glazing, the Radisson does everything possible to help you relax after a long day of sweating out half your body weight and dodging the maniacal drivers on Dhaka's roads. The place is very luxurious, with a lovely swimming pool and several restaurants, but it's the staff that make it. As I say, when you're away from home on your own, it's nice when people seem to care how you are. Going away for work, I would strongly recommend it.
I stayed there two times; first time in December 2017, 2nd time in January 2018. Both times staff was extremely friendly and helpful - I felt very much welcome. Everything worked out very professional, eg the transfer to and from the airport. The rooms look a bit old fashioned, but clean and quite. I tried two restaurant, both with good service and food! Altogether a good choice for a night and not too far from the airport. Ask for a room facing the garden if you like it more quite!
The hotel is a good hotel. It is a bit old, and some parts are not well maintained. the hotel cannot be considered as a 5 star hotel, but as a good 4 star. Hotel is clean. There were confusion when I arrived at the reception, as I took "breakfast included" but they told me that it was not. Luckily, the problem was solved. The electricity plugs are not international, and it is better to bring an adaptor. Something strange as well: the TV shut down with the lights. I cannot let the TV on, and turn off the lights. I tried as well the restaurant "Sublime". It is a wonderful restaurant, the food is amazing, service is perfect. Breakfast was as well very delicious.
Great hotel for relaxing and enjoying a leisurely day. Blaze Bar is so fun with Kader, Newaz, Ali, Quader, Faruq, all the guys (sorry if I forgot some), Diego, Monica, and Sandra (aka The Latin Sound Band from Colombia!!). Pool area and grounds are so pleasant with nice green space which is rare in Dhaka. Delicious selections at Chit Chat cafe with Chef Naz.
heard so bad regarding the restaurant of radisson blue.so I sketched a bad image in my mind. But all my prediction proved wrong when enjoyed their food on my cousin's weeding.I must lock this one for my upcoming weeding days....
Expensive but not worthy at all. Air Condition is a big problem, you can't turn it off easily. Touch Screen does not work properly. service in restaurants especially for dinner and lunch is incredible slow ! you may end up waiting 45 mins just for one pizza.
