Owned by Catholics who like Mother Teresa of Calcutta. It is like a home. Safe and friendly. Suites are clean but the standard rooms are dirty, have a old dust smell and one gets bitten by a large number of mosquitoes even when mosquito repellent is plugged in. I got sick because I am precisely allergic to mosquito bites and old dust, and recovered only once I returned to Washington, DC area. I asked for one order cheese Indian bread and one Indian plain bread. The waiter came with two plates and pointed out that one was cheese and the other was plain. They were both plain, and so I paid for to but sent it back. Never ordered food for me again. The waiter knew the issue even before her served because the guy in the kitchen, the waiter acknowledged, did not know how to make one with cheese. However, he went ahead and lied and cheated - a kind of mentality that is frustrating when one is in Bangladesh. He apologized of course, but my experience was tainted. When I tried to check-out the front desk man kept answering calls on both his landline and mobile from Imran Sir. So, the hotel needs to better train its staff, if they want repeat customers.
Good place to stay. Room is very good. Even staff are very good at service. I loved their boutique style theme . But their food quality is too much poor . They need some improvement on their food. Overall its a good place
This hotel needs improving in room's, bathrooms is falling apart..lol We stayed at this hotel in May 23rd for 2 nights group of 20..!! It was disaster no rooms, then finally got rooms then no beds..lol One of our guys slept on floor..lol Anyway the best thing was few hundred yards away the is a top class restaurant with shisha bar, that made our time at this hotel little better.. Sorry but wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone..
Hotel room is very good. Even staff are very good at service. And I found staff very honest. But breakfast is very bad..I would say its actually not breakfast. Lot of spice in food is bad part of this hotel. Otherwise it's a nice place to stay.
April 4th landed in dhaka, pick up already waiting for us post immigration. Hotel upgraded us to a suite since we are regular at the hotel. Wifi is good and so is the food. Service / cleanliness / staff is excellent.Within the budget and minimal fuss. Very cordial owner and staff alike; always ready to help.Stay is for 10 days and worth coming again.
Rooms are good. Location convenient. Close to main road and market plus the food street of Dhaka yet calm and peaceful. But the quality level of the restaurant and house keeping staff has a lot of room to improve. Have been staying with them for over 10 years and the owners and the old staff are bunch of very good people.
Been there for business purpose. Staff is helpful. Location is good, with good restaurants in the neighbourhood. Hygiene acceptable but can be improved. Was pleased to see their menu for room service but unfortunately not reflecting the reality as many options not available. I found the hotel a bit expensive for the standard.
Its a very decent budget hotel with no fuss. Food is good and Rooms are clean and spacious not too big not too small. AC's work fine, Sheets are clean. Service & staff is very friendly and quick response. Wifi is good too. Do not expect too many fancy stuff. Strictly for business. Surrounding is good & safe.
Never again would I stay here. Hugely overpriced for what you get. Paying 90 dollars a night for a dingy room with view of garbage outside window Am moving to another hotel. Cheaper hotel and nicer. Staff not very helpful here and need to respect privacy more.
Good things first: the hotel is indeed near the airport (15min with no traffic), rooms are large and the bed was nicely hard, a nice change from some of the better places. Apart from this and quite friendly personnel the place is quite shabby. Walls urgently need painting, I didn't dare to sit on the sofa and had to convince myself that the incredibly run down road didn't mean anything. The 'amenities' consisted of soap and envelopes of toothpaste... Internet was sometimes really good and sometimes unusable. Breakfast had some good stuff, but was generally poor. The coffee was as bad as anywhere else. Hotels in Dhaka for some reason are very expensive and this one certainly wasn't, but you have to be prepared to get what you pay for.
