Beautiful neighborhood, easy parking, hospitable staff. I didn’t like how small the breakfast area was compared to other hotels, and that they ran out of food (oatmeal) before the breakfast time was up.

Staff are amazing, wonderful breakfast served every morning, comfortable beds for a great night's sleep, strong wifi connection. I love coming here when I travel for business.

Good, clean, hotel. Basic but sufficient. Walking distance to some restaurants (Sushi, Thai, etc). Overall a good option if you're looking for something that meets all the basic needs of a good hotel.
Clean and friendly hotel close to downtown Birmingham
Another average motel with a great location. Staff was friendly. Waste basket had not been emptied from previous guests. Our room had the worst mattress ever slept on. Obviously overdue for replacement. Complimentary breakfast was very good.
Typical Holiday Inn near downtown Birmingham, MI, which is an adorable, walkable town center with everything you need for retail and eating needs. Hotel had some quirks-- alarm clock kept going off, no light to turn on when you first walked into the room, but nothing serious. Room was clean, but tub backed up a little. Staff was very nice.
The staff and manager were wonderful. We changed our room cause the temperature couldn't be controlled and there was a loud fan kind of sound coming from outside. The public spaces could have been vacuumed better and the elevator button on the fourth floor did not light up. It was not fixed during the 4 days we were there. We were told it would be.
The location was perfect for our visit for a wedding in Birmingham. Close to nice restaurants, bars and shopping.
I would never stay at this hotel again. My room was dirty. Crumbs and debris were found throughout the floor of the room upon my arrival. My room was 60 degrees Fahrenheit before and after I attempted to adjust the thermostat. I should have changed rooms but It was late and I hoped by midnight it would warm up. The heater itself had a pen stuck in the vent and a plastic makeshift cover over the spot where the dials used to be before the thermostat was mounted on the wall. There were numerous cords coming out the connecting room door. It was ODD, and frankly a bit creepy. The TV in the workout room did not have a picture, only audio. The treadmill was so loud I could not block out its screeching with my headphones. In addition, the draft from the window in the fitness center was so bad that even running 3 miles didn't warm me up...and then I got to return to my icebox room. Lastly, the hotel itself is tired and old looking inside. It does need to be refurbished. However, the hotel isn't kept clean overall thus adding to their problems. For $135 it was awful. I wouldn't pay $25 to stay anywhere that is not kept appropriately clean.
The hotel is conveniently located and priced. Room was clean, though small. Breakfast up to Holiday Inn standards. No complaints.

Yes we are outdated just a little bit but you will be happy to know that our renovation is in the making.
