The room was okay; it was cold, and I had trouble getting the heater working right. The front desk clerk came to the room and set it for me, but then later in the night it switched to air conditioning, and the room was freezing. Also, it was extremely noisy on my floor. I brought the concern to the attention of the front desk, and they said that the kids who were running up and down the halls and yelling outside my room had the right to be there until 10:00 PM because their hockey team had rented a room. But I also rented a room; do I have the right to peace and quiet?

Door lock jamb loose. Tile floors sticky. Paint in bathroom ceiling peeling from next floor leak. Mold in Tub and shower. Vent in bath filthy. Carpeting in room disgusting. Definite smell of mildew in air throughout room. Caused me to sneeze quite a bit. Spoke to front desk the first day and she said maintenance would come by but they never did.

A little more attentiveness

My key didn't work to my room. Normally wouldn't have been a big deal but I had a 4 hour drive and hip surgery recently. Elevator is a distance from front desk and room on 3rd floor, walking with my luggage. I had to make the walk 4 times. This was not an easy task. Then on check out, another clerk didn't ask how my stay was or anything. She wasn't going to address me until I addressed her to check out. Room was very nice as is the hotel. Quiet.
