Hotels on the River in Dominican Republic

"Lobby was big open and inviting. Great first impression. Rooms were typical hotel rooms, perfect. We had a nice view of the ocean although over a few pools, still nice. Staff for the most part were great, friendly and accommodating. Language barrier here and there but you are in a different country. Food: buffet was a 4 out of 10. Some good options and some very bad options. Sat out for a little bit I think so choose carefully. The featured restaurants were awesome! 10/10 make sure you get reservations, the slots fill up fast as we missed out on our favorite place (Italian restaurant) the last night. Overall a great resort and would come back!!"

"lay back working style, if the staffs in Mexico are 'E' style person, then the staffS in Dominion republican are 'I' style of person. the rooms are clean, air conditioning is good. swoim-up bars also good."

"The first thing that turned me off from this place was the glass partition in the bedroom that looked directly into the bathroom shower area. We had a few problems in the room that required maintenance to come. The pool areas were excellent, always clean with plenty of chairs. The activities people were great. Lots of fun there. There is several restaurants on the property. Most were just ok. The best was the Asian restaurant. The beach was nice, plenty of chairs there as well. The service staff there was great. Very friendly and quick. "
