I booked this stay and prepaid through Expedia and when checking in the lady asked if I would like to pay cash or card for the deposit. I have stayed at many places before where they have asked to hold money on my credit card incase there was any damage but this lady said it would be around the price of the room for cleaning fees and what not. I looked at her in disapproval as that was never stated and felt that I was being scammed out of my money. She quickly backtracked and said she would not charge me for that but I do think this is worth being aware of when booking here.

Everything was fine except for a couple things the air conditioner controls do not allow you to set a temperature it has preset setting which I like my room ice cold at night and I was not able to do that so I slept terrible. I will not stay at a BW again if that’s how they are. Also NO elevator? This is 2025 I realize it’s only 2 stories but I was on a job and had several thousand dollars worth the tools I had to carry up 10 trips in all . You office staff said oh we don’t have break ins so I asked really then you will cover my tools if they are stolen and his reply no.

Property was off the highway, close to few fast food restaurants. Hotel is dated and carpets were older, I wish these property managers would at least have the carpet professionally cleaned once a month. They look dirty. Room was not bad, bathrooms had no locks on them. Room layout was good, lacks a bit in terms of cleanliness. I would probably book better hotel in the near by city if had to be in the area again. Overall all places in California had weed smell in hotels, which is very disturbing for someone from South East part of the country.
