Once the construction is done I will give this a full 4 star. Clean helpful front desk. Our room was neat and clean. I did not care for powdered eggs, nor sausage gravy. No fruit on breakfast bar. Great on off of 90.
There was a slight mix-up on our room at check-in. Tyrone handled everything so professionally. I actually thought he must be the manager! So I asked and found out, he was not. Another situation involving Tyrone involved me unknowingly dropping my small pocketbook in the hallway. Someone found it, turned ii in to the front desk and Tyrone brought it to me. I was most grateful. I believe this young man would make an excellent manager!
I'd rather give this place 3.5 rather than 4 stars but that's not an option. It's better than an average place but very expensive for what it is. My room was spacious with a comfortable king size bed. A fridge and microwave and flatscreen tv as well as a jacuzzi tub, were in the room. Breakfast was basic though it had a hot option. I've stayed at many Quality Inns that have been half the price, literally, and nicer. Still, a good stay, it just didn't feel like a good value.
Room was very nice and spacious. The wonderful front desk staff was helpful in finding what was open late for us to grab some food checking in so late. They also helped us print off a map the next morning. Breakfast was wonderful and a shout out to Jackson and Tyrone for have WONDERFUL personalities. They were very helpful and had personality PLUS!!!!! Would come back and visit the area and making a reservation there!
Room was fine, clean and spacious. Indoor pool was SO cold. Hot tub was warm but only filled half way. I'm not sure where all the water went. No elevator. Dogs allowed. Breakfast was really good. Fully stocked with a lot of choices. Close to I90 and fast food options.
We had made our reservation in March for this location, but no where did we see that there was no elevator to get to the second floor. Had we known, we would have requested a first floor room. We had a very difficult time getting our luggage up the stairs - fortunately, they were able to find a downstairs room the following night. The room was nice and the breakfast the usual fare.
Arrived after a long drive managing to negotiate road works. Room was huge but at the top of the stairs which made it quite noisey. Despite being by the main road was not disturbed in any way by traffic. Applebees, Walmart and gas station all very close by. Didn't use pool as too tired. Breakfast was the usual self service breakfast - few tables but this didn't create any problems when we went for food. Wi- if good and lots of parking - didn't see a lift so climbing stairs with heavy luggage could be a problem for some.
This room was comfortable and clean and not far off the highway, but far enough to avoid some noise. There was some roadwork at the time we stayed, which was at the intersection of the corner the hotel is on. It's fine for making a right hand turn into the hotel, but a little harder to get out. Hardly the hotel's fault, I know, but still a temporary detractor.
We arrived for our reserved non-smoking room and checked in, signing the certifications that we would pay big $$$ if we were caught smoking in our room. But when we went to settle in we found that the room reeked of stale smoke smell. I went back to the front desk and was told that they knew some of their rooms smelled like that but they assured me that they cold tell the difference between "old" and "new" smoke smell. I asked if a less smoky room might be available and (probably due to my high CP status) we were quickly offered another room which had never seen smoke. Beyond that, we found the room to be spacious and comfortable, and we enjoyed the in-room Jacuzzi. Breakfast in the morning was adequate, although the eating area was quite small and would have been a problem if there was a crowd.
Checked in as a Choice Diamond member for our 2 rooms booked in advance. Asked for the first floor for one of the rooms as requested and was denied. Stated they had to honor other requests first. Yet people checked in after and they were directed to the first floor. I also think the 3 US Rangers could have walked up the stairs. Looked more like the clerk was to lazy to check. Will never go back, filled ADA complaint
