Pretty view but, the unit was FREEZING and the heat would only blow cold air. We had to turn off the heat to warm up.

Was great stay in the North Tower
All staff were friendly, and helpful. No hassle to use pool and hot tube, and a few steps and your on the beach with chairs and umbrellas provided. Nice restaurants just yards away. Bed comfortable, spacious rooms. Only complaint is no night stand light, and more shelving in bathroom. All and all a very comfortable, and relaxing experience!
I didn’t realize the property would be so rundown. I have stayed at much nicer 3 star hotels. The smell was overwhelming, like they were trying to cover something up. The one perk was the ocean view from the balcony.
The Cove is right on the beach,you can’t beat that…..the staff was friendly and professional….the room needs updating but was comfortable but the walls are very thin so you could hear everything….and no one cleaned the carpet or the flooring
The room was very nice. Kitchen was clean and just enough dishes for the two of us. I would have liked beach chairs. I know every place had issues with the aftermath of the hurricane, so not too bad.
This property is ok, if you need a place to sleep. The pictures of the pool are misleading because it looks like a nice big pool area and it is actually very small and not as nice as the pictures show. The parking is extremely limited and they charge a resort fee like a nicer hotel would. I don’t think they should be charging any fees for their limited amenities. Our room had a musty smell that hit you in the face as soon as you opened the door. Went to take a shower later in the day and the huge shampoo bottle that was hanging in the shower was completely empty. If you are charging me twenty plus dollars a night extra you should at least make sure I have shampoo since nothing else is provided. Neighbors upstairs were stomping around and sounded like they were bowling for the two days we were there and we were on the sixth floor and could hear the kids screaming at the pool. So rooms are not very sound proof. I wrote a review because I wanted everyone to know a true review of the property because I was misled by previous ones that made this property seem to be amazing. It’s not it’s mediocre at best.
The hotel grounds and other guests were very nice. The trouble came when one of the security staff actually came into my room while I was out and opened up my safe to check what was in there, stole a few hundred dollars and then changed the lock combo so it'd be hard for me to get back in. The reason she did this was just to make it hard on me because I have cancer and I was dying but I recently undergone an experimental surgery and treatment that rebooted my immune system, and it's so far so good. That procedure included the use of particular narcotics and I think she was actually after the narcotics but when she saw that it was actually just Sudafed I think she realized that she just really wanted my money into rob me and when I complain to the hotel person on duty he actually made it sound like I did something wrong, then he said that they can't open up the safe and they don't use the safes. Then he finally said he will have somebody up there to use the skull card cuz they can open it up in a second. They actually keep the card accessible to all employees so anyone can access your safe in your room without trouble. The basically kicked me out then and never gave me back the $500 she took or the credit cards she copied. Worse is I own the hotel. It's part of my Rockefeller empire. So I would like to know who is trying to claim my hotel and I want all involved fired and arrested. They forced me to sleep outside after cancer treatment; no cash nor credit cards.
