Sea Shells Beach Club is a very old hotel that needs a bit of upkeep. That being said, the manager/owner is working daily to do needed updates and maintenance We had a 2 bedroom suite on the 4th floor and found very clean, comfortable rooms. It was a great stay. John and the staff helped every time we needed something. When crowded, parking might be an issue The location, right on the beach was great! We walked the beach daily and experienced some beautiful sunrises over the water!

The bed was very comfortable and there were no bugs. The location was great! However, the smell of the room was quite pungent. The property itself was run down and it you need a place to just stay and you dont care about the experience, this is fine. If you want to enjoy your stay and the property, this is NOT the place.

We really appreciated the excellent communication throughout our stay and the consideration given to our travel requests. However, I believe the building could benefit from some updates. For instance, new mattresses would improve comfort, as our mattress had a noticeable dip in the middle, causing us to feel like we were gravitating toward the center. Additionally, a larger TV would enhance the overall experience. Thank you for your attention to these suggestions!

This was our 2nd visit to Sea Shells. Last year we had a basic hotel room with a kitchenette that was just okay. This time i rented the 1bedroom, oceanview apartment/condo. I have to admit it was so clean, nice, comfy and very well priced (especially during a holiday weekend). I am sold and intend to rent this unit or whatever happens to be available for every daytona trip I take forever more.
