We are pleased to report that the Ocean Walk Resort came through the hurricanes with no major damage, and all amenities, including beach access were not impacted.

Located at the Wyndham Ocean Walk resort, this luxurious vacation lockout condo offers breathtaking oceanfront views with amenities and plenty of activities for both children and adults. An ideal family destination.

Spectacular 5th floor direct oceanfront condominium. Beautiful newly remodeled condo has full kitchen, stainless steel appliances, two washer/dryer units, free high speed Wi-Fi, and many more upgrades. This condo is perfect for a multi-family vacation!

The breathtaking view doesn't stop in the living room or from your large private balcony gazing at the endless ocean, miles of beach, or historic Daytona Beach Bandshell. The primary bedroom en suite with king bed also has an ocean view window. One guest bedroom has 2 double beds and the 3rd oversized bedroom has a queen bed.

For the entire family, this resort is a watery paradise, whether you opt to play in the pools - there are two outdoor heated pools - or run into the waves. There's a water slide and lazy river where kids (and adults) can float lazily along on tubes. One pool includes an interactive, aquatic island playground. Ocean Walk's beach is car-free and kid-friendly.

The resort is right on the sand making quick runs to your room throughout the day easy for snacks or breaks from the sun. You can't ask for a more well-rounded vacation spot! Indoor mini golf, a fitness center, game room and programs for both kids and adults.

Excellent family vacation by the beach

This no-fuss resort had something for the whole family and a relaxed atmosphere. Check-in was a little confusing (we went to the right desk but the person working there sent us to another desk, and that person sent us to a 3rd before we ended up back where we started, which was the right place after all), but once that was taken care of we had a great time. Pool and lobby rules were only loosely enforced which contributed to a relaxed atmosphere. Planned poolside activities were great and of course the oceanfront balcony could not be beat. Our condo had comfortable beds and clean linens and a perfectly functional kitchen. Staff were friendly and attentive, and the lobby bar had live music we enjoyed in the evenings.All in all, this was a successful vacation and we hope to come back again. Thank you, Ocean Walk!

This condo is way over priced for what you get. Very out dated, roaches in kitchen, very little hot water, TVs didn’t work and heat would not get above 66. We were very disappointed with the amount of money we paid. Also on a bad part of town. Do not recommend!

The location was great as it was right on the beach. We were disappointed that one of the pools and lazy River was closed. But the live music was great. The couch was the most uncomfortable couch I have ever sat on, but the beds were cozy! Lastly, The photos need to be updated to show that there is a very small bar table and not a kitchen table as it was in the original pictures

Great facility horribly dirty condo

I felt dirty the whole stay! This condo has cockroaches roaches. There is mold growing in the bathroom. The family room couch was extremely dirty and uncomfortable. The chairs were falling apart. The beach chairs were broken (3 out of 5). The host was responsive to my requests for hot water and coffee maker. I would not recommend to anyone.

Condo was nice but a little run down. One of the beds sloped to the right making sleeping difficult. The location being so close to public beach access makes the beach too crowded. The limited parking passes is not ideal if you have multiple vehicles.

Family spring break 2024

Wonderful spring break with our children & grandchildren! The Wyndham Ocean Walk is the best, multiple pools including gated baby pool, lazy river, heated pool, slide pool and indoor pool, Something for everyone and best of all located right on the beach. Our VRBO host was EXCELLENT and responded quickly and efficiently to a couple of questions and requests, which we appreciated very much!! We are already planning for a repeat next year!! ❤️

Family celebration

Overpriced for the condition of the room. We booked a “premium” room ocean view. Upon entering the room, The smell of Lysol was so strong we couldn’t breathe. The bathrooms had human hair stuck to the walls, one bedroom smelled like human urine, one of the wicker chairs was busted and unusable, the air vents were full of black mold, the oven drawer had dried spaghetti sauce in it, under the TV stand were pieces of balloons, empty water bottles, and about 2 inches of dust and dirt, one of the top safety locks to the door was busted, We were shocked at the condition. Will never stay there again. The property owners are not keeping up with cleanliness and maintenance.

Unit as listed. Resort hard to get along with. Mild under water faucet.

The unit was as listed. We called 2 weeks before booking and arrival to ensure the slide into the pool would be open. The person we spoke to said there were no work orders for the slide, while not a guarantee, it should be open. When we arrived there were signs posted saying the slide was closed for the foreseeable future. This was a big bummer because this is the main reason we choose this resort. At 10 security locks all the gates from the pool to the beach so the only way to get back in from a night walk on the beach after 10 is to go around the building to the front. When we arrived the first thing we noticed was the door frame was busted. We notified the owner immediately and they said they would have someone look at it. The unit was surface clean. Upon walking in it appears clean however there was black mold on the faucet where the water comes out. The cleaner isn’t doing a great job. We cleaned it off. Overall the unit was good.

We have booked this condo twice and each time it has been wonderful. No issues. Beds are comfy. Plenty of cooking items. View is amazing from the balcony. Owners even let us check in a few hours early :)

Check in not 359 at 400. Unit was not properly cleaned found teeth on sink (not dentures) security around pool was rude with family members. The unit itself was nice and meet our needs. The door to balcony is difficult to open. Go get in line for pool deck access at 0645. Deck opens at 0700 and is full by 0730. Prices for everything at the resort expensive because it is a resort. Not sure if I would return but the beach was easily accessible as well as shops and restaurants. Bring money and lots of patience.
