Holiday Inn Resort Daytona Beach Oceanfront

No parking (car could get towed or stolen) rooms are nothing like any Hoilday inn I have ever stayed in. Looks they they bought some run down motel and tried to convert it to something nice but that was a fail! Do not get the prepaid breakfast!!! Your breakfast is picked for you! You get no selection of your paid breakfast! Only eggs, toast, bacon that's it! Rip off!!! IHOP is in walking distance. This place is over priced and not worth it! There are better rooms like the Hyatt that's cheaper.

Fabulous location on the beach. About a mile walk from the pier. Outdoor pool and dining space were awesome! Staff was incredibly friendly, especially at the bar! King suite room was enormous and perfect for us as we were traveling with an infant. The hotel is still under construction. Looked like it would be completed in the next month. Only downside was cleanliness of our room. The floor was never cleaned, which we noticed even more since we had a baby crawling on it. However, the carpet in the bedroom did get vacuumed, and the bathroom sink and toilet were always clean. Also, the bathroom has no towel racks, and the toilet paper roll was hanging sideways out of the wall, with the roll constantly falling to the floor. Food at the hotel restaurant was good, and the staff went out of their way to accommodate our needs. Would stay here again!

Staff always cleaning. Very friendly. Heated pool. Nice cafe/ bar.

Room was great but the gates to the beach front and back gate and the elevator need some kind of vent system. Parking is no good at all either.

The room was clean and comfortable. The restaurant needs more variety and they were way understaffed. They were only half filled and they couldn't keep up.

Great and convenient location to stay for our Daytona 500 experience with the guys. Fantastic ocean view.Good breakfast at restaurant cafe with ocean view.

I don't recomended! It is a terrible place, the food is disgusting, the beds are horrible and the service is terrible

This hotel is wonderful. They had great live music by the pool area. The pool was open till very late which is nice. The bar was nice. The restaurant was spectacular.

We really had a great weekend at The Holiday Inn, my only complaint was the bar staff. Very slow service and didn't acknowledge us for minutes. The front desk was great-Cameron was very helpful at check in and remember me when I returned the next day with an issue. I would definitely go back to this hotel.....we all had ocean view rooms!!

The Staff Was Extremely Accommodating. My Friend And I Are Both Vegetarians. The Restaurant And Front Desk Staff All Helped To Meet Our Needs. The Cleaning Staff Were Excellent At Getting Our Room Cleaned First Thing In The Morning While We Were Out For Our Morning Walk Each Day. We Really.Appreciated That.

SPENT THE WEEKEND CELEBRATING A BIRTHDAY. HAD A VERY RELAXING WEEKEND. THE ROOM WELL CLEAN AND SPACIOUS AS WAS THE POOL AND HOT TUB. THE STAFF WAS VERY NICE TOO. I WILL SURELY RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL TO A FRIEND OR FAMILY MEMBER. WE WILL BE BACK!!!

Looks can be deceiving. On-line the pool and room looked bigger than it actually is. I was disappointed when I saw it in person... Didn't expect a "motel look".

Great stay, very comfortable and close to everything. Very accommodating and friendly staff. Good experience in restaurant as well. The only disappointment is the late check In time, our room wasn't ready till after 4 and our flight got in at 1. Hotel is newly renovated and doesn't smell like mold like most fl hotels in area.

The staff is the best at any hotel I have ever visited im54 and have traveled alot. The food was very good, tip is added but they did not dissappoint ever! They had live entertainment with variety to please most , allittle loud for me but people were having fun! The halls were Not real nice kind of dank , I think thats the way they are in daytona.the rooms are attended to every day its nice to have a fresh room when there is so much sand.got ripped off by taxis beware .

Liked it very much. Great view. Hotel very clean, the staff was very friendly. Quiet at night. Definitely would recommend.

We stayed during the first few days of Daytona Bike Week and we're very happy with our stay. Rolando was very welcoming when we checked in & went out of his way to make sure we had a spot across the street for our trailer. They had security and cameras watching our bikes/trailer throughout our stay. We weren't to far from Main Street, just a 5-10 minute ride. The view from our room was beautiful. The beds were clean and comfy. Tub wasn't super clean, but I'm also a germaphobe! The elevator was broken by our room. This made it inconvenient since we were on the 6th floor. Otherwise our stay was nice and we would book again.

Stayed during Race Week, rates were as expected during that time, location was great. Rooms were much nicer than expected for a beach resort, seemed recently renovated and no musty smells that often come along with staying on the beach. Great pool area, but restaurant was understaffed every time we went in and took much longer than should have.

Very nice & clean. Loved the Firepits! rooms were very nice and comfy.

We arrived from Indiana, leaving behind snow and low temps. We found the hotel to be very clean and the rooms updated and spacious. We paid extra for an ocean view, which was worth it. There is also a $6.00/Day resort fee (Not sure if it's more during the busy season). The view was great. The hotel is a distance from the boardwalk area. This was our first trip to Daytona, and we thought we could do a lot without having to rent a car. Unfortunately, this was not the case. The hotel does have a restaurant, which is a definite bonus, but to get to any other place to eat, it was a long walk. I would definitely suggest getting a car. We came in on a Sunday afternoon, and the town seemed kind of dead. It was February, so maybe that's just the time of the year, but we didn't feel too comfortable walking around at night on the main road. We actually enjoyed driving up A1A to St. Augustine and spent most days up there. Check out the Ponce Inlet Lighthouse (south of Daytona) and the St. Augustine Lighthouse. We also went to the Alligator Farm in St. Augustine, which was a little expensive, but interesting (Around $20/per person). There's lots of miniature golf places in Daytona. Don't forget to take discount coupons with you for many of the attractions (Available in the hotel lobby area). The beach is great, and there are also lots of nice parks along the A1A that you can stop in and enjoy.

We were impressed with the cleanliness. The staff were nice. We thought it was expensive as we paid $200 for an Oceanfront room. I think we paid more going through a popular online booking company (not allowed to mention brands in reviews). Next time we'll call hotels directly. There were not enough parking spots for many guests. We were able to park across the street, but it was a parking lot of a closed business. We didn't feel too secure about leaving our car there, but we had no choice. Not to sound snooty but it seemed like there were a lot of low-income guests which seemed out of sync when paying $200 a night. We will stay at another Daytona resort hotel for same price or cheaper next time.
