This hotel is adequate accommodation with good service. If you are looking for holiday spot, this is not the best option in Darwin. The clientele were smoking in the pool and belching. Not a very relaxing experience. The staff were great and handled our reservation, check-in and check-out politely and efficiently. Great if you are passing through and need a simple room for a night’s sleep. Not good for multiple nights.
Centrally located, this hotel is perfect for tourist and those spending the night. All conveniences are available and the staff are more than approachable to meet your needs. Would definitely stay again.
The service was excellent, breakfast was very good and overall appearance was very clean. Just minor attention to detail in the bathroom to be improved. Know Darwin is hot and humid so mould in bathrooms need to be addressed.
The room was neat and clean When I wanted additional assistance i.e. photocopying for a presentation that staff were more than willing to help Great setting for the pool, which was accessible too late at night.
Townhouse we had was very average, had everything we needed for our trip but was outdated. Great location, close to shops and transport. The pool, bar and dining was awesome. Staff were very friendly and attentive.
The accommodation was fairly well maintained. As a large dance group, it met our basic needs and was walking distance to where we needed to go. Food was average but the staff were very accommodating to address the needs of various diets. Bar by the pool was the high point.
Great place for an overnight stay. Didn’t get the chance to use the pool but looked very inviting. Overall very clean. Staff were very friendly. Great having self serve laundry. One suggestion for improvement is to have the restaurant cater more to vegetarians, pescatarians and also gluten-free diets (this is pretty much the case for restaurants throughout Australia).
Cockroaches in bathroom so had to move to new room, but air con remote didn't work in that one. Then tried to use 'free' drink voucher I was given at check in, but was unable to due to ridiculously early bar closing time. I would actually have been there before it closed if not for room change, air con remote issues. Rude staff member didn't once apologise for inconvenience.
Room was dirty and smelt of human excrement. No parking available. Location was ok....near enough to everythhing, facilities were old but not too bad. TV didn't work properly..... Volume was either full or mute and channels changed randomly.
We stayed the 3rd year in a row in Travelodge Resort in Darwin, and it was fantastic as always. Rooms are spacious and clean, Swimming pools just fantastic. Staff very helpful and friendly. Woolworths just across the street, a lot of restaurants easy to reach by walk. Bus stop also across the street. Only - really very small unimportant issue - the internet. I bought for one day an internet voucher for 24 hours unlimited as I had some urgent study assignments to do. Unfortunately I then just discovered that our room was not covered by the Wifi of the hotel, so that the money was burned. But I saw that as a sign to go back to the pool and to do those assignments later at home :-) We will for sure come back to this hotel next year
