Stayed on a Sunday night so had the place to ourselves! Relatively new (5 yrs) Fairfield. Nicely appointed lobby and breakfast area. King room a little small. AC could freeze you out if you let it! I would ask for an odd numbered room on the back side of the building as Calhoun apparently has a high percentage of cars with bad mufflers! Great bed, as is Marriott's norm. Very friendly staff.

We were returning north from a week in Sanibel Chose this hotel because of reviews on TripAdvisor When checking in we were taken care by Miles. Wonderful service! He wanted to give us some coupons for a restaurant which he couldn’t find and said he would call his manager to find out where they were and to stop at the desk later. Sure enough he stopped us on our way out to dinner with coupons. Beautiful, clean hotel, comfortable beds. Great breakfast friendly staff! Exceptional service from your manager Lauren Bryant! We have had some bad experiences at other hotels...this hotel is the way to take care of customers. We would definitely stay here again and tell others to stay. Thank you staff for a pleasant evening

I stayed here with my family when coming back from Florida going home. The hotel location is very convenient, plenty of restaurants around. The hotel is really nice and clean, you can tell from the moment you walk in. The room was very clean and comfy, my kids kept talking how comfy the beds were. Hot breakfast was really good. I highly recommend this place.

Very nice hotel. Everything was very clean. Bed was great. Had coffee maker and fridge. Coffee was the best hotel coffee i have ever had. They did have a breakfast bar in the morning although it was pretty cleaned out by the time I got there but still got some food. Only stayed one night.

My wife and I travel quite a bit and I am always on the hunt for accessible rooms, When we find a room that works for my wife, we tend to stay there again. From close to 40 years of experience of accessible rooms being all over the spectrum, I check the room out before taking possession. From the vanity being the proper height, to ample room on all three sides of the bed, this room did not disappoint. The room was clean and quiet, There is a Longhorn Steakhouse, Applebee's and Cracker Barrel within walking distance of the hotel.

Nice clean hotel, nothing over the top, but good location for finding places to eat for retiring for the night. If going south and you leave before 6:30AM, you will beat the Atlanta traffic nightmare. Parking lot fills early and is small, no room for trailers or campers.

Check in was quick and easy. Person at the front desk was not overly friendly and strangely asked if we wanted to know where the elevator was and breakfast times rather than welcome us with this information. The lobby and eating areas were tidy. Our room was clean and smelled fresh. Before we turned in for the night we could hear pounding that sounded like someone working. It eventually stopped. The room was not quiet and you could hear footsteps from the floor above us and toilet flushing during the night. The bed was acceptable but sheets felt a bit rough/smelled a bit like bleach. Breakfast area was clean and busy. Usual selection of breakfast foods scrambled eggs and sausage, waffles, oatmeal, yogurt. Did not have any interaction with any breakfast room staff.

Everything you'd expect from a Fairfield property. Clean, quiet, well maintained, good breakfast, clean lobby and rooms. Rooms clean, quiet and beds comfortable. A great place for a one night stop going south or north. Second time we've stayed and will continue to viisit on our way through to FL.

Stayed two nights and rented the meeting room for two days. Checked in and my prearranged room next to the meeting room wasn’t cleaned yet so they cleaned it immediately which was nice after a several hour ride. Room was clean, pool was warm for getting some laps in for exercise each night. Meeting room was set up as requested and the GM Sharon made sure everything was taken care of for us and never hesitated to help when needed. Once again glad to be a Marriott elite member. Longhorns and Applebee’s are in the parking lots adjacent and food and service was good at both as well.

Based on the other TA reviews, I expected great things. However that didn't quite pan out. It looks modern enough from the outside but the rooms have decor that seems to have been inspired by the 70s. Bed was very soft which I know some people will like. I did not. Breakfast was pretty good. Team members milling about at breakfast looked at you but didn't raise a smile let alone a good morning which was a shock having has numerous positive interactions with team members at other hotels on our road trip. Departure was...unmemorable. We hung around at the reception desk for 5 mins with no one coming around so we decided to load the car up with our luggage and come back and try again. Still, no one. Personally, I would choose to stay at the Country Suites over the road. The night in particular they were $68 while the Fairfield was $109. As I mentioned we came here purely on previous recommendations on TA which are usually spot on. Not this time though! By the way, there is an amazing shopping outlet right over the cross roads form the hotel. Brilliant way to kill a couple of hours. And we did also visit Longhorns Steakhouse, which was great, see my other review on that one :)
