Really had a great stay. I've been to this hotel before and while those stays were great, they've improved everything including the giant tv in the room and the restaurant remains the best steak place in Dallas. I was actually surprised, however, that the breakfast at that same restaurant was equally great - hard to pull off when you focus is your dinner...

Hotel tell staff was very attentive. I was able to quickly check in and out. The valet was speedy as well. The actual hotel itself was clean and ascetically pleasing. Room and hallways were very quiet and the lobby was never too busy.

The hotel staff was friendly....the rooms were a bit dated and a bit short on amenities. The rooms were a bit dated and I was on the 3 rd floor that looked out over a room top with a frosted window so it was a bit dark and gloomy

Hotel obviously recently updated but the room felt empty and lacking furniture and wall art. 1/3 of room was empty where there should have been a sitting area. Instead there was one chair and a tall lamp awkwardly placed near window. Room was clean but not inviting or warm.

Pros: Great location. Great spa and gym. Nicest, most helpful staff ever. The staff are the real gem here. Cons: SO overpriced. From the restaurant to the parking- everything is over priced for what it is. Then, on top of that, they want to charge you extra for everything, like a little tube of toothpaste.

The greeting from the valet staff, front desk and cleaning crew was exceptional. Will stay there next time

Services and room were great. Wife was ready to come back next week. Easy access to our destination made it even better.

I forgot my bag in the cab and one of the staff members ran through the street and caught the cab and brought my bag back to me. That's what you call above and beyond service!

Clean rooms , friendly staff, good restaurant, walking distance shopping mall

It was Ok. No coffe maker in the room . Velvet parking is 24 dollar per day looks like there is no self parking

Staff was great! We weren't very happy with the noise coming from pool and bar, but at least it didn't last very long.

overall very enjoyable exp. staff very accomodating, room was large with nice amenities.. very centraly located for what i had to do in dallas... I have stayed in kimpton properties a half dozen times in the last year, and they have never dissapointed me.

When we were married, my wife and I were disappointed it didn't go that way. We celebrated our first anniversary at the hotel Palomar of Dallas and the accommodations were perfect. The most comfortable beds. I was disappointed to see they are manufactured for the hotel. I looked. Ordered room service, and (I've forgotten his name) our service pro was perfect. Happy, calm, informative, formal, and fast. The valet guys are swift and polite. The concierge is prompt to greet you, and Madison was extremely accommodating. The last time we stayed here, I had the best Bloody Mary at breakfast here. I've tried to duplicate it, but can't. We did breakfast as well this time, and if you do, try the cinnamon roll. Great great stay. I'm sure we'll do it again. Maybe October.

The Palomar is well-situated to SMU visits. The lobby, fire lit in winter, is bustling and social, especially due to the kind staff, excellent coffee, and complimentary cocktail hour. The rooftop pool is very chic as is an outdoor cocktail space off the restaurant. Breakfast was serene. Gym is great but music interferes with treadmill tvs. Proximity to Exhale spa and classes a plus. Furniture in rooms is due for an upgrade because of wear & tear. Staff couldn't be nicer

The hotel is very well located , it is near the North Park Mall , Uptown , Highland Park Village and the Arts District in Downtown. The lobby is really nice but the rooms are old and run down , the bathrooms are spacious but really plain . The parking is really expensive . The hotel allows pets , so be ready to hear barking all night and to get your clothes full of fur . Its an ok experience , the location is its highlight.

very pleasent stay,, but getting the car took a little too long,,,, but generally ,, every thing was good

Great hotel with boutique features, yet business friendly and calming. The location just off I-75 and Mockingbird, close to the new G.W. Bush Presidential library at SMU and the Mockingbird Station mall provide lots of local support. The hotel staff was welcoming and the only off putting feature is valet parking for $23/ day. Otherwise, nice gym and nice hotel.

I was not impressed. The room itself seemed nicely appointed, but the toilet ram constantly; the AC unit buzzed and clicked, and when I called to get them fixed, the staff seemed in no particular rush to deal with it. The gym is dark, tiny and outdated. On top of that, the value is not there. They charge $23/ day to park, and $12/day for internet.

First impressions are everything! The decor was great staff was kind and the valet awesome! I brought my son with me and they found a Friend in him for the whole 5 days they could improve on the room service menu but other than that everything was perfect

The room was comfortable and cozy. Great staff!!!!

Thank you so much for the awesome feedback on your visit to The Highland Dallas. Those 55" televisions in the guest rooms are awesome, but any meal at Knife Dallas is truly a winning option. I'm glad you were able to enjoy Dinner and Breakfast at Knife. All best, David David Lemmond General Manager The Highland Dallas
