I expected a good experience at this hotel based upon the brand name and positive experiences at other Doubletree hotels. Check-in went well, although they forgot to give me my cookies. Upon entering my room I saw the toilet full of towels. Not good. Back to front desk to get a different room. The room is supposed to sleep four persons, but the double beds are so small that only one person per bed can sleep comfortably. The hotel is very dated. The pool is small and unattractive. Breakfast was also disappointing. My family will not be back.

Great experience, clean, friendly helpful staff. Rooms were clean. Drinks were good. Close to everything. Not too far from dalllas. Great price. Food places were in the area. Very convenient. Affordable. Worth the money.

Close to the city, rooms are outdated. Room was freezing, however the staff changed rooms for us with no problems. New room temp was fine, but had visible dust and the tub was stained. Basically you pay for what you get.

I stayed at the doubletree hotel 3 times of the 4 visits to texas. I will continue to stay there for my other visits. I would like for them to update their rooms with microwaves and refrigerators to be more convenient

Good breakfast. Courteous staff. Would recommend and stay again in the future.

Very elegant, friendly staff, room was spacious and clean. Definitely would stay here again.

Stayed here during orientation at UTD. Super location to get to campus. Loved all hotel staff we encountered. Our room was clean and neat. The only downside to the hotel that we found was that it only has double beds. Queen size beds would fit in the rooms and would be so much more comfortable.

Expectations were met. Room was clean. Only issue was neighbors with kids which isn't the hotels issue. The walls were very thin and we could hear everything going on next door.

The hotel location was great for my business needs. The rooms are in need of some updating. It just felt old to me but it was very clean and the housekeeping staff did a nice job.

Hotel was good and quiet. There was one problem with the tub not draining properly but it was fixed quickly.

Hotel was clean. Check in staff was not very friendly. All other staff was great

My wife & I brought our 2 kids along with us for a family event in Dallas. We stayed 1 night, and liked the hotel: nice room, clean, the location right there at Central Expressway was very convenient for us, and the breakfast was good. NOTE: breakfast was NOT free, because we booked through or-bitz! (Misspelled intentionally here because the automated web bots wouldn't let me submit this comment if it contained "brand names") Apparently, the hotel does not offer free breakfast to customers who book through or-bitz, although we were only informed of this when we tried to get some food. Too bad for us, and too bad for or-bitz. We had breakfast there anyway because it was convenient, and the food was good, but that was a charge we didn't expect: the reservation was advertised on or-bitz as having a free breakfast included. Other than that, it was a good experience.

The staff was great, great room, great setup for meetings, and a great workout facility.

Check in was seamless and easy. The cookies were delicious as always. The room was big and wide. The only concern was the tiny size of the bathroom, it was only big enough for 1 person at a time to use it. Overall, for the price and location 4*

I was extremely disapointed in my stay. We were provided with a handicap room that did not have a bathtub in the bathroom which made it very difficult with our kids. The staff did help us find a different room, but the room we were given had bugs in the bathroom upon entering and the overall cleaning was poor. This Doubletree was not up to usual standards.

We stayed as a family, 2 adults and 2 kids. They asked me the number of cookies I want. I requested 4. They brought us only 2 and then I had to insist to get 4 cookies. That was so cheap!

Very friendly staff room was clean and comfortable, will stay at this hotel again.

Friendly staff helped to know the area, and the restaurant and bar at the hotel are a great meeting place.

The staffs are wonderful. It's the perfect location for shopping and dinning

I stayed at the Double Tree in Richardson TX to attend a 2 day training being held there. My room did not cool down and I told the front desk and went to dinner. When I got back they determined that they couldn't fix it right then and already had another room for me. Also for the class training the chef offered to prepare a lunch if enough people signed up even though the dinning room was closed for lunch. It was delicious and saved time and hassle of going out to find a bite to eat and get back in time for class. The staff at the front desk and the restaurant were friendly and helpful. I highly recommed staying at the Double Tree in Richardson TX anytime, business or pleasure.
