The Haian was amazing - totally checked all the boxes. The room was well appointed & clean - we had an ocean view room with 2 twin beds. We were literally across the street from the beach. The beds were very comfortable & although the hotel mentioned there may be construction noise next door, we didn’t hear it. The inclusive breakfast was outstanding - so many selections from hot foods, made to order noodles, egg station, array of fruit like dragonfruit, guava, etc. and western dishes too. We had a wonderful meal of the northern style combo dinner in the hotel restaurant and it was so reasonable & delicious. The rooftop pool isn’t heated so it was too cold for me to swim in December but other people did take a dip. The pool guy Cuong was so nice & set out pool chairs, towels, drinks, etc. Wow, we felt so taken care of! We had wonderful service at the spa too. Prices are super reasonable & ask for a discount.

The hotel is directly surrounded by 2 loud construction site which starts roughly as early as 6am and finishes as late as 2am. The hotel offered complimentary drinks which were cordial style juices you get during breakfast so not much of complimentary drink when the drinks are from conplimentary breakfast drinks. It was constant disturbing construction noises that kept you from sleeping. Probably avoid until the 2 construction sites surrounding the hotel finishes.

Book this trip 6 months in advance was not informed of any building works next door Found out on arrival there was construction work on both sides of the hotel Staff were very accommodating in moving us to a new room but the windows weren’t sealing properly and the wind was whistling all night from the wind Staff were good , buffet was average. We really enjoyed our stay! The staff was very accommodating, the room was clean, and a good size. The pool and outdoor area was beautiful and we loved being able to walk right across to the beach, down to coffee shops, restaurants, and shopping. It was a fantastic service experience. They set us up for a trip to the Marble Mountains and Hoi An. And, you have direct proximity to the beach and the tiki shacks for beach atmosphere and cocktails. The room was superb and every request was addressed. The breakfasts were large and had many options. I think anyone can have a good time here.

My friend and I stayed here for 5 days, the hotel itself is nice and clean. However, we got food poisoning from the restaurant in the hotel from the fish and ice in our drinks and we had to go to the hospital. This resulted in us needing to get separate rooms for the remainder of our stay. We were too sick to inform the staff and were still sick when we checked out, however the receptionist informed us there was nothing they can do because we didn’t tell them right away. We have sent an email and they did not respond to us.

We came back for almost 3 weeks! We had such a great stay the first time that when the weather changed our plans we decided that the best place to stay safely was Da Nang and the best hotel was Haian. We were in Vietnam for over 2 months and we stayed in many very good hotels. But what really sets the Haian apart is definitely service and staff! Their dedication, positive attitude and desire to make everyone feel special is unmatched! They always have a quick solution for every issue. When we left, it was like saying goodbye to family and friends.
