Me and my husband had seafood buffet dinner here for Valentine day just yesterday. We expected that we gonna have an enjoyable dinner with 5 star service. But we both were disappointed with it, especially the decoration of the counter with careless set up. It looked really messy with dirty pent roof. Food was not appetizingly prepared. We have been this resort for weekend seafood buffet dinner once. That time was much better than this. I don't think you should put service down just because you give 50% discount on male customers. The only point of this dinner was friendly waiter,
The views when you arrive in the lobby - to the beach - are amazing. Service is very nice and staff very friendly. Lovely pools and beach facilities. Happy hours in the lounge bar by the pool is great fun with the band. We went in summer 2017 and had family from Australia join us - 10 of us in total. Lovely family holiday and a nice mix of time by the pool and going out and exploring for those of us that wanted to. Kids loved the different pools. Some of our family stayed in a villa so we got to use the pool there which was nice. Only gripe is that everywhere felt a little more dirty than it should have. Not a major issue but made it feel not as good as we'd expected.
It was a very nice location, and very good facilities. We stayed for a week for a business conference. The food selection was also okay. The bar has also superb band. I will rate the resort a 5 start.
We chose this resort as an extra holiday/break and was thoroughly pleased with our decision. The room was lovely and the housekeeping was excellent. Our room overlooked the garden pool which was fairly quiet but a relaxing outlook. Could not be happier. We have stayed at many hotels/resorts in our time and found The Furama to be up in the top section. This in spite of many newer resorts going up. This one keeps its standards due to the excellent staff.
I celebrated Christmas 2017 at this great resort in Da Nang. Even it was a windy weather the stay at this 5-star resort was great. The room was great and very clean with a nice view to the beach from the balcony. I can recommend this resort to anyone.
Our stay at the Furama Resort in Danang was simply fantastic with the staff probably amongst some of the best we have experienced in our travels. An example of this was the incredible tour of Hoi An they not only organised for us but also where the tour guides. Top stuff.
We stayed at the Furama in August last year using a Luxury Escape Package. Last night we were rebooking to Stay here again and I realized I had not written a review. The Resort its self is showing some signs of age, but being one of the first beachfront resorts this is to be expected. I want to point out that a little bit of wear and tear is to be expected but it in no way diminishes the quality of this resort. It is located south of Danag and is actually well placed as a base for touring around the local attractions, like Marble Mountain and The Lady Budda to name but two. The Building and many of the contents reflect an indochinese influence from the Champa Dynasty. This make the site stand out as warm and inviting, unlike the concrete jungle buildings that surround this complex. OK Lets GO !! The Arrival Process This is where you get to meet the people who will make or break your stay. I highly rate the arrival and check in. It was fast efficient we were seated with a welcome drink and the wonderful M/s Yun (My wife mentioned her in her review as well she posted back in November) she was a delight and was a wonderful ambassador for the Furama. The Room We extended the Luxury Escape package to a Garden Delux Room it was clean and tidy a very comfortable size. Large Balcony Area good sized bathroom with separate bath and shower. We had Fruit Platters and a nibble box as well...the room was cleaned twice a day...house keeping did a very good job. You even get a turn down service and a chocolate. Room Service Well Room Service is exactly the same as you have in the various restaurants pricing wise it is medium to high but in keeping with resorts of this caliber. We found the food quality to be high for in room dining. Food and Beverage Generally The Furama prides its self on its food quality. I certainly enjoyed the food very much and really can not fault. The Buffet (nightly seafood) is just fantastic plenty of choices and every thing was very fresh. The front of house chef is there to help and advise you as well. The Italian restaurant was very nice but it was a very typical menu. I would like to see them be a little more adventurous maybe add some thing like vitello tonnato or a goat based dish. Breakfast Well as you would expect the resort covers this very well Western Asian Eastern it is all there for you. Took us a couple of day to realise the Vietnamese Coffee was hidden down the back...Very strong Coffee served with sweet condensed milk have it hot or cold very nice. High Tea Treat yourself to high tea on afternoon. Not entirely what you will expect as it stray a long way from Coronation Chicken and Cream Cheese and Cucumber sandwiches. Despite the deviations a very pleasant and enjoyable couple of hours. Alcohol We had nightly cocktails included and I have to say they were very nice. Again this is a resort so the beverage cost is on the medium to high end compared to the local bars but not prohibitive. Wi-Fi This in now to most guests an important factor and the Furama delivers. We had excellent coverage regardless of where we were in the complex. We had multiple devices connected so exceeded expectations. The Staff Generally Your staff are truly one of your greatest assets. Always will to help and show a genuine interest in us as guest. There never seemed to be any problem communicating with staff and no requested was too hard. A big well done to the staff for making us feel more like family than just guests. Comments Highly Recommended Resort...Can not wait to see you all again in August...just need to upgrade our room again. Thank you !!!
Furama Hotel is good location for stay in Da Nang, breakfast many variant but still need more combination for long stay to avoid same menu every day. The location is in the beach and we can walk directly from the hotel to see the beach. but during my stay the beach was not so clean and big wave. If they have bath tub in the room would be better.
Room are a little old and not so clean. I have a 2-bedded room (room 427), the beds are very small, only 3ft, it could be 3.5 ft (super single) which will make it more comfortable. However, the services are excellent, housekeeping, restaurant services etc are good. staff are polite.
We loved it - truly loved it. The Furama is a great resort in a great spot, but what set it head and shoulders above virtually anywhere else we've ever stayed was the truly remarkable service. Nothing was ever too much trouble. And after our week at the Furama we truly felt that several of the staff were friends. Couldn't recommend more highly ...
