The Furama is "top drawer class" in every way. Our room was spacious and had a sheltered balcony with a great view of the beach and the ocean. The bed was exceptionally comfortable and we slept like babies. All of the service personnel we encountered we superb, speaking excellent English and seeing to our every need and wish. The gym and spa services were the best we encountered during our several weeks of traveling in Vietnam. All of three of the on-site restaurants were excellent, so good that we ate "on campus" at every meal. It's not inexpensive, but if you're in Da Nang with time to kick back and relax the Furama is the place you should choose to be. It's worth every penny and it's where my wife and I will go when we return to Da Nang next year.
My husband and I stayed at Furama Resort in Danang for 4 days. The hotel is very beautiful and the staffs are very friendly and helpful. We would definitely book it again when we are in Vietnam and recommend our friends to stay there.
My family came to stay for a week from 26th October to 2nd November. We had one of the villas which was spotlessly clean. We had a problem with a door banging in the wind which was immediately fixed. The staff were extremely polite and attentive and special mention should go to our butler Ha for whom nothing was too much trouble and who also recommended some excellent restaurants in Danang. Gabriella was so nice and friendly and my daughters loved talking to her. My youngest daughter loved it so much she was crying that she didn't want to leave. I would recommend Furama Resort and we'll definitely be back.
We are regular Luxury Escape travellers, so when we saw the special for the Furama Danang, we knew it was time to fulfil our dream of visiting Vietnam. So fortunate for us we did. And equally lucky for us we did not go for the Pullman which was next door - we popped in for a look see and lunch one day. it was sterile, soulless and incredibly overpriced unlike the welcoming and happy amosphere at the Furama. So we purchased the eight night package and upgraded to a Garden Deluxe room (cos I love having a relaxing bath on holiday and this was one of the few room styles with a bath). Communication with the hotel for booking and upgrades were friendly, quick and hassle free. Made a nice impression. We stayed at the Green Heaven in Hoi an for our first three nights which was fantastic. The transferred up to the Furama for our beachy relax holiday. Lovely greeting upon arrival, check in whilst seated and a quirky welcome drink. One of the number one things that makes my holidays worthwhile is not a building or a location, but the people who work to help make your holiday not just good but great. They are usually the first people you really meet in a new country and your entire impression rests on them. Furama Danang did not disappoint. During our check in we had the pleasure of meeting a lovely young lady - Miss Yun, who was the guest relations officer. She has a love of Shelock Holmes, so having the Moriarty's to stay appealed to her wonderful sense of humour. What an incredible ambassador for the hotel - friendly, helpful and an absolute joy to spend time with. Yun made us feel so very welcome and very much at home. It was the same reception every time we saw her during our stay. As it was with all the lovely staff there - nothing contrived or forced about their interactions with guests. Just a genuine willingness to get to know you, what you like and to provide the best possible service. Never saw a grumpy face during our whole stay - just lots of smiles and laughter, amazing. Our room was on the top floor overlooking the garden near the convention centre. Yes it was a bit worn around the edges, but then, so am I. I had no complaints really. It was spacious, quiet, lovely balcony that was private, comfy huge bed, lovely bathroom with lots of amenities. Only a couple of small recommendations for improvement - a bit more drawer space for clothing and a really good spring clean every now and then to get rid of the dust bunnies that gather in the corners and around the TV etc. Tiny things - nothing that would ruin a holiday thats for sure :) The fruit platters and little nibbles were a lovely addition and we both adored the yukata robes. We almost became kleptomaniacs when we found out there were none left to buy - we so wanted to take them home with us. Hopefully next time? Such pride is taken in keeping the grounds looking beautiful. We loved wandering around, so tropical and the gardens were colourful and fragrant. We had a few swims in the beach pool, but the lagoon pool quickly became our haven. It was large enough that you could still have a quiet relax, even with lots of kids around. And the pool was very welcome, as respite from the heat. Our package included some massages at the spa and they were really lovely. Daily cocktails which we had every night before we went for dinner. Three dinners included, so we had the buffet on two nights and went to the Italian restaurant another night. The seafood buffet was amazing. Something for everyone, and hubby was in raptures with the dessert selection. Thank you to the lovely front of house chef who took the time to point out some lovely Vietnamese specialties which she had cooked up to our liking. Brekkie was also included and we were spoilt for choice. We were so full we barely ate lunch most days. Had a lovely high tea one day, totally yummy. The beach is spotless, with lots of shadyspots to plonk yourself down and relax while looking out to the beautiful ocean. We got out a bit and explored Danang, the Marble Mountains and the Lady Buddha. so much to see and do - we had a ball. So planning to go back next year and the choice will be a no brainer. The Furama proved itself more than worthy of a repeat visit - so looking forward to seeing Miss Yun and the rest of the lovely staff, as well as having a relax in a place that made us feel like treasured guests. Thankyou so much for welcoming us :)
This was the relaxing part of our trip and it really lived up to it! Although the décor might be a little dated, the rooms are wonderful. The beds are super comfy - which means we had 4 nights of really great sleep! The food in the hotel is expensive compared to local food but it is delicious. A quick trip to Danang city or Hoi An can give some relief to the budget if you're concerned about that. We spent time on the beach and around the pool. The set up of both and the food and drink available at both is excellent. We also used the Spa services which are quite affordable, professional and extremely relaxing. All over, it was a really wonderful stay at Furama. Highly Recommended!
Reception was beautiful and customer service fantastic. They tend to all requests and are friendly and approachable. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Grounds were well kept and spa was delightful and worth the money. Looking forward to returning.
We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Furama. It has such a lovely relaxing atmosphere and the staff were so friendly and helpful. They made a big fuss of our baby and made her feel so special. We would definitely recommend it for families and couples.
One week of perfect care and attention .We would recommend this to anyone and hope to return The pool attendants were great. Paul wanted Australian red ,shiraz on wine list.he loved the Vietnam beer...a short trio to hoi an where you can explore the history.free shuttle was good.
Excellent hotel and hospitality. We had a blast. We had booked one of the villas and the rooms were gorgeous. The staff is extremely polite and courteous. The reception and concierge were both very helpful. Highly recommend the resort for travellers who want to experience affordable luxury. The resort is very child friendly and the beach is stunning. It is pristine and lots of water sports are available. In addition the villas have pools which is very nice too. The breakfast spread is lovely and the tiramisu in the hotel (Italian restaurant) is absolutely divine. I would love to go back to Vietnam and Da Nang just to stay at the gorgeous property.
This was a luxurious resort and we enjoyed our stay. The staff were so lovely, friendly and helpful. The buffet breakfast included was amazing . Meals/drinks a little overpriced compared to local food nearby but otherwise couldn't fault. There were some daily activities some cost, some free, but you really had to check board each day, it would of been great to know these ahead for the week.:-)
