Modern day production of a French village. Food choices are limited, but the food and drinks are great and moderately priced. Good for a one-night romantic and family stay. The property and gardens are well kept.
The place is a complete let down from start to finish. The only good thing is the golden bridge but even that is so touristy and you can hardly walk across it with out getting pushed or elbowed in the head . The wine cellar is a joke totally fabricated.and the funniest part is when you get to the bar at the end . They only stock 3 wines to taste French village is nothing special just looks like a bad movie set really. For the money you spend to get in here . Save your £45 and do something better in Vietnam
This place was dangerously overcrowded the day we went, we spent hours in queues, people skipping queues etc. Every hour was like a week. Worst sightseeing excursion I was on in 40 years. We did not get to see, do or play anything. Hugely overpriced also for what was a day of queues.
The most people i have ever seen in one place in my like, dangerously overcrowded, we didnt get to see or play anything. An hour wait involving pushing and shoving for a cablecar, obviously no upper daily limit on tickets, worst day of vietnam visit. Hundreds of thousands with selfie sticks. If i could give this place a zero star i would. Pics below are just one part of queue for cablecars, there were about 10 of these, 7000 people per hour on way up.
The concepts like France town or village. A place for those who likes taking picture or selfie. A bit disappointing staying there nothing to see during night time. Advise go there in the morning and came down in the evening not worth staying there, after 6pm there were not entertainment and dark outside.
The cable car up the mountainside is the only good thing about a day at Ba Na hills. The golden hand bridge is incredibly average and no where near as impressive as the pictures make it to be, its heaving with tourists making enjoying the view an impossibility. The castle is terrible with nothing to actually do, entirely made of plastic, and apparently still under construction with cranes everywhere despite the owners charging through the nose to let you in. Limited choice of pre cooked food and the only activities being naff arcade games make it feel as if you are at Hollywood Bowl. Spend your money elsewhere.
On our first family visit to Hoi An we made a day-trip to Ba Na Hills Mountain Resort. We were surprised to find our 8yo son was charged as an Adult - irrespective of age if you’re over 140cm you are classified as an Adult! The various cable car rides were a highlight. There was a lot of low cloud on the day we visited that limited visibility, however the views we did see were really impressive. There’s a range of attractions (including historic Pagodas and Temples) and numerous scenic walks to enjoy, headlined by the famous Golden Bridge (which was heavily crowded). The French Village - which was undergoing a major refurbishment - contains a multitude of restaurants, cafes and bars. Worth a visit.
Great day with great friend and climate. Cable cab is the thing that I love most. Just watching forest slowly slides under your feet, so marvelous. Everything is good except some toilet that dont have enough water to flush omg...
Exiting when standing in the famous bridge " Hands Bridge". Take alot photoes with beautiful sky. Enjoy Vietnamese foods with buffet, funny time with Fantasy Park ....Enjoy the weather with 4 seasons on 1 day.....and the longest cable car system in South East Asia Contact : Mr Bao with phone number 084944337018, he will help you get more things in BA NA HiLL.
Get a private taxi! No need to do a tour I think it’s a waste of time and your stuck to a schedule. We booked through our hotel which was slightly more expensive but was a lot less hassle and the driver was brilliant. Everyone says to visit in the morning but we found it incredibly busy and the bridge was much quieter in the afternoon. I would recommend the gardens and wine bar as these were the nicest parts we found. We are British and found ourselves being asked for a couple of photos and not always in the kindest way so just a heads up. We just laughed but at times it is slightly uncomfortable. Also a lot of the tourists seem to be there just for photos which can also be a bit annoying as they are constantly in the way but all in all worth a visit.
