We had an amazing night in this hotel,i could slept very well, because i was litle worried about altitud problem, but i did not get any probleme so that was good for the following days. We could walk anywhere museums and restaurants nearby from the hotel. I really recommend anyone who are looking where to stay in Cusco.

Excellent and safe location, the Hotel is situated in a very cool neighborhood about 7 minutes from the main plaza which allows you to get everywhere by foot. The staff is extremely friendly including Eder and the rest of the restaurant staff. The room was very modern, clean, and quiet with tea always waiting for you just outside. Breakfast was even better than expected with many healthy options. I would definitely stay here again when I come back very highly recommended

We stayed at Illa hotel in 6 people, 3 couples. The rooms were very comfortable, all the necessities available, and 2 bottles of water per day. Breakfast is lovely: everything fresh and the staff does their best to help with any needs. The courtyard is beautiful and there is tea and coffee available at all times in the halls. We liked it so much that, once we came back to Cusco from our trip to Machu Picchu we stayed again for a night. Excellent experience and would recommend it to anyone.

Friendly, helpful English-speaking staff, comfortable super-king bed, shower better than most US chains, room heater provided (3C at night). On site restaurant, made to order omelette for breakfast! CNNI on TV in English. All round really good. No elevator so check if ground floor required. Airport pick-up included. Bit of a climb up from main square but good training for Machu Picchu! Highly recommended.

We stayed at the Illa Hotel during our stay in Cusco and I highly recommend this hotel! The hotel staff members were friendly and super accommodating, the breakfast (and restaurant) was delicious, and the hotel rooms clean and cozy. The hotel itself was also centrally located and was beautiful. I loved the interior patios and terraces, and they provided great views of Cusco.

We stayed twice at the Illa Hotel & loved both times. Staff were always helpful, smiling and answered all questions. Our rooms were great especially the shower which had a multiple choice shower heads. The location is perfect as it’s just a short walk to the main square past plenty of shops & restaurants. They can also arrange taxi transfers if needed. Breakfast in the restaurant was fresh and enjoyable. We also ate two meals there - found the prices reasonable and all our meals tasty & large servings. The lemon pie and berry tart were both amazing. The waiting staff were also extremely good & can offer recommendations.

Spent 5 nights here before and after Inca trail. Staff are wonderfully helpful and friendly, rooms are clean and facilities are well above the average 3 star. Value wise you cannot fault. The restaurant which is separate to Hotel does great Peruvian food and we had a couple of lunches in the secluded courtyard highly recommend for anyone who is visiting Cusco.

I used this hotel as a base in Cusco and all in all was pretty happy with everything. It is at the top end of Cusco so if you are out near the main square the walk up the hill is a bit of a killer! There are a few restaurants around San Blas but taxis and other tour cars will struggle to pick you up directly! The main things which for me stop this being a five would be: - It is quite noisy as the rooms back onto the main square and a couple of nights there was music blaring in from a concert across the street - Windows in the bathroom didn’t shut so was cold in there! - Breakfast spread is a bit bare compared to other ones but that is a minor grumble

All the staff at Illa Hotel were extremely helpful. They were very welcoming upon our arrival and made sure our stay was the best possible. The rooms were very clean and I really liked having the necessities for tea in our room to be able to make coca tea to counter the altitude sickness. The morning breakfast was great and they served the ususal (yogurt and fruit, fresh eggs, fresh pastries, cereal and granola, cheese, etc.). The hotel was also very close to many shops and restaurants in the San Blas area.

Tucked in the narrow streets of San Blas, this lovely colonial mansion was smartly converted to a charming hotel— a nice spot to stay for a few days. Our visit coincided with the Corpus Christi festival so we were happy to be away from the swarms of people in the plaza. Our triple room was in the last courtyard, very quiet and well appointed, however, they had just finished working on the bathroom tile and the strong chemical glue smell never quite left during our visit. The bathroom door handle fell off, the hot water disappeared, and the new room heater did not work the first night requiring a portable space heater. This list makes us sound like picky travellers, but these small things kept adding up, requiring frequent visits to the front desk. The staff was prompt at addressing each issue, but it was a hassle to keep returning to the front desk and we gave up. The breakfast was delicious and varied and the woman in the morning was lovely.
