This place was a dump. From the moment we got out of the car, we could smell cigarette smoke. When I checked in, I was told that smoking was not allowed in the rooms. Unfortunately, as soon as we opened the door, the room smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. The bathtub had multiple cigarette burns, and the bottom of the tub was black and filthy. We actually skipped taking showers that morning and left around 7:45 a.m. The hotel’s breakfast was also very disappointing, so we ended up going to the McDonald’s across the street instead. The hotel is also advertised as being 15 miles from Brushy Mountain State Penitentiary, but it is actually 22 miles away and takes approximately 34 minutes to reach. I would strongly suggest looking at other properties before booking this one. This place is a real sleaze bag, and I would not stay here again.
